The final scores only went into the opening post this morning after a hectic week for me, and consequently the updated table was only updated and uploaded here earlier tonight. Two people must have been even busier as they didn't make their picks at all. Luckily there was a pitifully low average score of just 4.5 points this time out, so there wasn't much movement for me to record. The gap at the top remains the same, whilst it's grown at the other end, but only by a single point.

Just below the summit, lowest scorer TildeGuy is overtaken in third place by the only participant into double figures for this round, Harvey Dent. Special mentions to TUFCfan as second best performer and, despite a tiny haul, Rory for backing Chelsea to win at the Emirates on Sunday. For most, that outcome and the two other away wins on the same afternoon proved equally fruitless.

Before that, Stuttgart's victory at the Rhein-Energie Stadion – which I visited over the winter break, by the way – nudged them further away from the drop zone but didn't go many people in our competition much good. Closer to home, the margin of victory for leaders Leicester caught everyone out, but lots of players got at least one point from some of the other results, including foreseeable score draws at West Ham and Sunderland, losses for out-of-form Palace and Newcastle, and an almost inevitable dour stalemate in the derby of sorts at The Hawthorns.

Right, that's your lot for this week. Still no D2D next time due to terrible TV scheduling, but a more varied and hopefully interesting card awaits...
