The voting has closed and here are the winners of the 2015 UKFF Awards!

Winners will get [something or nothing]. Losers will be punished with [something or nothing too].

Rick - if you could update your History post in the pinned section, that'd be terrific!

TL;DR:

It's good to be: Sasha Banks, Bayley, Kevin Owens, New Day, Will Ospreay, IANdrew Dice Clay.

It's bad to be: Big Show, Adam Bowler.

The Best of Pro Wrestling

Best Pro Wrestler: BROCK LESNAR and SASHA BANKS

This is the first time there have been joint winners of this award. Sasha is the first female to win!

Best Match: SASHA BANKS VS. BAYLEY, NXT TAKEOVER BROOKLYN

This is the first women's match to win this award.

Best Event: NXT TAKEOVER BROOKLYN

This was a clear winner with nearly 55% of the overall vote.

Best TV Show / Episode / Documentary etc: NXT

This is the third consecutive win for NXT in this category.

Best Feud / Angle: SASHA BANKS VS. BAYLEY

Again, this is the first time women have won this award. The sweep for NXT continues!

Greatest Moment: BAYLEY WINS THE NXT WOMEN'S TITLE

There were only 3 votes between this and the moment in second place, Seth Rollins' cash-in.

Best Babyface: BAYLEY

Bayley received nearly 70% of the vote here, winning in a landslide. That's 5 wins for her and Sasha so far!

Best Heel: KEVIN OWENS

Like The Shield in 2013, Owens wins this in his first full year in WWE.

Funniest Moment: THE NEW DAY AND THEIR TROMBONE

The trombone should have a special display case when the WWE Warehouse creates a museum.

Best Tag Team: THE NEW DAY

Another landslide victory here, with New Day receiving nearly 60% of the vote.

Breakthrough Star (formerly Breakout Star): KEVIN OWENS

This was a much closer category, but Owens made it through, and becomes a two-time UKFF award winner!

Best Wrestling Podcast: SQUARED CIRCLE GAZETTE RADIO

Congratulations to Liam O'Rourke and the guys, who beat the Steve Austin show by just one vote to win the award!

Best Female Wrestler: SASHA BANKS

That's 6! Sasha is the first winner of this new award.

The Worst of Pro Wrestling

Worst Pro Wrestler: BIG SHOW

Big Show continues the tradition of big men winning this award, following Nathan Jones, Lord Tensai and three-time champion the Great Khali.

Worst Match: THE 2015 ROYAL RUMBLE

This is the first time the Rumble has 'won' this award.

Worst Event: WWE SURVIVOR SERIES

This is the first time one of the 'big four' PPVs has won this award.

Biggest Letdown (formerly Biggest Anti-Climax): THE DIVAS REVOLUTION

This was a clear 'winner', receiving almost twice as many votes as its nearest rival, the Survivor Series title tournament.

GTFO: BIG SHOW

The return of this award after a year's absence. This is Big Show's second win of the year in negative categories.

Stupidest Moment: BIG SHOW AND KANE DOMINATE THE ROYAL RUMBLE

Also known as "Having two past it Attitude Era relic shitheads Kane and Big Show dominate the Royal Rumble in FUCKING 2015 FOR FUCK SAKE". That's 3 for Big Show in the negative awards.

The Best Of British

Best British Wrestler: WILL OSPREAY

Ospreay beat last year's winner, Grado, by just three votes to win this.

Best British Match: WILL OSPREAY VS. JIMMY HAVOC (PROGRESS)

This is the third consecutive win for a match from PROGRESS. Once again, Ospreay beat Grado by three votes here!

Best British Promotion: INSANE CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING

ICW last won this award back in 2011.

The Best Of MMA

Best MMA Fighter: CONOR MCGREGOR

McGregor received over 75% of the total votes in this category!

Best MMA Event: UFC 189

Another big winner here, with over 70% of the total votes.

Best MMA Fight: ROBBIE LAWLER VS. RORY MACDONALD (UFC 189)

This is the second year in a row that a Robbie Lawler fight has won this category.

The Best Of The UKFF

UKFF (On Topic) Poster of the Year: IANDREW DICE CLAY

This is the FIFTH consecutive win for Ian in this category!

UKFF (Off Topic) Poster of the Year: IANDREW DICE CLAY and SCOTT MALBRANQUE

This is the first time either of these joint winners have won in this category.

UKFF Best Sports/MMA Poster: WANDSHOGUN09

Wand's dominance in this category continues. He's never not won it!

UKFF Funniest Poster: IANDREW DICE CLAY

He's a triple crown winner! Basically, if Ian ever leaves this place, the ship's going down.

UKFF Post of the Year: HARMONICGENERATOR ('REVIEWING RAW AS UK KAT VON D') (https://ukff.com/topic/135497-the-relationship-thread/page-21#entry2965817)

I'm flattered! Butch's Shane Douglas post blatantly should have won, but I'm flattered!

UKFF Thread of the Year: LPW NEMESIS: A REAL TREAT (https://ukff.com/topic/136330-lpw-nemesis-a-real-treat-mention-ukff-at-the-door-for-free-entry/)

It's already in Gold, but if it wasn't, it would be now! This was another clear winner.

UKFF Please Post More Award: KEITH HOUCHEN

This award makes its return after a little break. Keith is the first winner of this award who isn't JLM.

UKFF Good Egg Award: JOHN MATRIX

Matrix received nearly two thirds of the total votes for this category.

The Worst Of The UKFF

UKFF Dolt of the Year: LPW / ADAM BOWLER

This makes LPW a double award winner!

UKFF White Noise Award: YOUR FIGHT SITE

This is Your Second Consecutive Win...

UKFF Failed Comedian: UK KAT VON D

This is UK Kat Von D's first UKFF Award 'win'. Perhaps he'll get a 'Failed Comedian' tattoo to commemorate the occasion.

Thoroughly fucking deserved, Liam!
SCG, How Did This Get Made and Fatman on Batman are the only permanent podcasts on my blower, and I'm a selective, contrary prick as to what goes on there.

I'm absolutely astounded and flattered at the joint share with Iano! Absolutely perplexed but very, very thankful.
There should have been plenty more ahead of me there, so I'm gobsmacked.

I love you cunts!

I'm all about NXT these days and hardly watched any Raw or SmackDown all last year, so I'm pleased to see NXT cleaning up in most categories even getting the votes of people who do watch all of the WWE tv shows.

It dawned on me when I was trying to sell tickets to NXT Sheffield last year that it is still a pretty niche product that a lot of WWE fans don't know or care about - and it feels a bit like ECW did in the 90's where I was watching all these great matches & angles that many fans didn't even know existed.

I didn't say it during the voting stage in case it looked like I was canvassing for votes, but thanks very much to the 20+ people who voted for my SummerSlam topic in Thread of The Year.

Thanks to anyone who voted for me. Very nice of you!

We might as well rename these the Dicey Awards. Ian smashes it every year and rightly so. Good to see Matrix and Malbranque up there as well though.

I have to echo the praise for Liam's podcast as well. I'd never listened to it until last week but kept meaning to because of the love it gets on here. The need to hear Butch's Shane Douglas promo read out loud was the kick up the arse it took to get me to finally give it a listen and I'm glad I did. Never thought that listening to wrestling fans talk about wrestling could be so entertaining. I'm going to try to listen regularly now. Think it'll be a godsend when I'm doing nightshifts again in a few weeks.

Got to be honest, I think air_raid has been robbed of on topic poster this year. Take the last three years, five years, ten years and Ian's the best poster by a mile but I thought this was air_raid's year. Can't argue with Ian for funniest. He slays me.

You're too kind. Part of being the best poster is being likable and I fall down on that front. I'm far too comfortable telling people they're an idiot when they say Miz is pinning John Cena clean at Mania (to cite a historical example).

Nah, that can't be the criteria. Pitcos won this award once ;)

Liam can legitimately claim to have beaten Steve Austin. Clean. Congratulations to all the winners, well deserved in all categories.

How crazy is it to see WWE women wrestlers dominate in the 'Best Of' awards? That's some achievement. I suppose it was one of the worst years in a decade for the guys though.
