Fog Dude
Final scores went into the opening post on Sunday evening. The table was figured out the following morning and then uploaded here earlier tonight. With an average score of nearly 14 points, it's probably about what you'd expect from a double round. Vegeta was the top performer with 23, but leader MVP RULZ was the joint second best scorer and extends his advantage at the summit to 45 points. A full house from the Spanish results boosted his haul considerably. Everyone who picked on time made it into double figures, and everybody got at least one exact scoreline right. Prince Nana's guess on the Linlithgow game was void – I didn't realise it was an early start until the last moment and it was too late to change it – but he still scored the same as Zebra Kid Mark, so the gap at the bottom remains at 4 points. Nobody quite got a three-pointer from that six-goal thriller, but a few people did go for a 2-2 draw. Wins for Arsenal, Bournemouth, Stoke, City, Watford, Hearts and Celtic all proved fruitful, as did the televised score draw at White Hart Lane. Away victories in all-Prem clashes at St Mary's and McDiarmid Park caught out most participants, whilst the ties that went to replays at Eastleigh and East End Park were a mixed bag. Harder to guess beforehand were Swansea and the Accies' reverses at fourth-tier opposition, whereas a stalemate at Stirling and a shock avoided by Dundee United at Airdrie were even tougher to foresee. Eibar's triumph over Espanyol was the least easy of three very useful outcomes from Spain. A new card, which is mercifully just a set of 10, is coming up in a few minutes.
