MungoChutney
Genesis is one of them iirc and the sports app was something like Mordo?
TibBo
That'd be mobdro.... Its ok for sport as long as you only want to watch sky sports/bt....you don't need kodi for it tho. It works on any android device, I've got it on my samsung galaxy. Try it on your phone before you buy an android box if that is all you are going to use. Ultimately you will need several sports apps so you can have alternative options when the streams are laggy/low quality etc. Â Of course if you want to watch sports not on sky sports/bt you would then either need to know what foreign channel they are on or use a different app which does the hard work for you. Â Ultimately you have to learn to do it yourself, because in 3 months time the apps which are popular now will have died off a bit and you will need to setup new ones to get the best out of your box. It's no more difficult than setting up an app on your phone so don't be scared, and certainly don't pay a bloke 20quid to install tvaddons lol
MungoChutney
Yeah, that's the one. I'm fairly confident I can sort the apps myself and we're getting it for 20 quid less than the usual as its mates rates. I think he's just being overly helpful by offering to take the box back and set up stuff for us, not sure I'd actually need him to.
Onion123
Is it possible to download Mobdro onto my Nowtv box and also what is the best subscription service for all of the channels and also video on demand stuff.
King Pitcos
Apparently this Beast thing is too bloated for the meagre resources of the Fire Stick -- or so I've seen people say after I googled. What would be a solid set of apps for decent coverage of TV, film and sports? Also, a complete idiot's guide on how to install all of this, thank you. adequate8
I've got the beast on fire tv (not the stick) and works a treat for me. Â For good basics, find the tv addons config wizard and it'll install all the main channels for you
King Pitcos
The Fire TV is a fair bit beefier than the stick though, which apparently isn't an issue with iPlayer, Netflix etc but when it comes to games and Kodi beasts it shows. I'll look into this tv addons config wizard, cheers.
Slapnut
Pitcos, I installed The Beast on my Fire Stick earlier today. It buffered a lot when I was trying to watch BT Sport but everything else worked OK. Â Genesis and Phoenix are the two best apps for movies, live TV and sports though I reckon. King Pitcos
Thanks Slapnut, don't suppose you could explain in very basic terms how you did it, as though talking to a small child or a nan? PM if need be.
The Dart
Can I make the same request? I have Amazon Fire Stick.
Paid Members Teedy Kay Posted November 23, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted November 23, 2015 Me too. Â A link to a decent How To would be great, I have googled, but if someone has a comprehensive how to that covers all bases simply it'd be appreciated
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted November 23, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted November 23, 2015 Wouldn't use that "Beast" add-on on one you've bought pre-loaded. Changes everything.

TibBo
Yehh the beast is very bloated and if you have virgin as your isp a fair few things are blocked. The best thing is to just have a mooch and find which addons work best for you and your setup...they are easy enough to delete if you don't like them. Â UK turks is a nice little addon with a bit of everything.... Got all the Wrestlemanias under the classic tv section too
