Paid Members air_raid Posted April 12, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted April 12, 2016 Pretty shitty that even as late as Friday he was still being advertised. Must be more too it...unless theyve got the ticket sales they initially wanted and he was never coming in the first place... TNA! TNA! TNA! Jon-Carr_92
Bryan's supposed to have asked for time off and people were still moaning they only announced him to boost sales. He did an announcement that's since been deleted off YouTube, so he wouldn't have hyped up coming if he wasn't on the show, surely?
Drfunke
Taker is still advertised for Newcastle and on the venues site too....Kane was already teaming with him to take on Wyatts. Wonder where this news has come from...
Jon-Carr_92
Just had a look. He's not there on the Newcastle page on WWE.com and he's still there for SmackDown, yet unusually, he's not in the header image. It has Owens, Ambrose and Big Show. d-d-d-dAz
It's pretty funny that they were struggling to sell Smackdown tickets so announced Daniel Bryan and The Undertaker and have now pulled both. And by funny I mean shit.
Clinton Morrison
Pretty small-time from WWE that.
seanz25
That's piss poor unless there's a proper excuse as to why neither are on the tour unless it's injury. Suppose the old 'subject to change' strikes again here. If word get's out that they both just couldn't be arsed/didn't fancy it surely a bit of a shit storm would occur in the wider press. King Pitcos
That is bad form, and quite bizarre. If Undertaker's not up to doing the matches, you'd think he'd still do the appearances and just chokeslam someone, especially with Bryan pulling out of the tour. Perhaps he's not even up to the flight.
Briefcase
Undertaker wasn't advertised to wrestle though I don't think. Just to appear. Last year on Smackdown he just came down and choke slammed Barrett and that was that, didn't even make Smackdown.
METAL ON METAL
He was advertised to wrestle, on the Newcastle show. It was originally Big Show & him vs. Luke Harper & Erik Rowan, then it got changed to Taker & Kane vs. Rowan & Strowman - which is still listed at the moment on the Arena website. The Dart
WWE have confirmed he is doing London and Newcastle. Kane Undertaker vs Rowan Strauman both shows.
kidkris
even with card subject to change surely without superstars being injured this is just blatant false advertising. Its something that wrestling fans put up with all the fucking time and the thing is we bitch and complain about it but then buy into the next tour when something like that happens again;. This has never once happened on any gigs that i play. You buy a ticket to see a band and they couldn't be arsed getting off the bus so you get the promoter putting on just anyone instead, the crowd would go nuclear
The Dart
WWE confirmed he is on the shows though. The story was bollocks.
Slapnuts
So Undertaker's at Newcastle and London. By London, do they Raw & Smackdown?
Briefcase
So Undertaker's at Newcastle and London. By London, do they Raw & Smackdown? Im guessing if tickets need to be sold then they won't announce Raw in the hope to sell out Smackdown. But not sure he has a reason to be at Raw from a storyline point of view.
