They've sent him all over the place the last year or so and he's delivered in every way from a media and promotional POV. Not to mention somehow still delivering, no exceeding on what was expected of him in the cage. Â McGregor's first title defence being in a massive stadium in Dublin would be one of the best moments in MMA history. Look at the turnout Holly Holm got when she returned to Albuquerque with the title after the Rousey fight, and that was just an appearance. Can you even wrap your head around what the atmosphere would be like for McGregor's Homecoming first title defence at Croke Park in front of a huge crowd? I still think Aldo needs another fight first though. But the stadium thing could work with Edgar or Dos Anjos anyway. Â It won't happen though. It'll be Vegas again.
