The results went into the opening post earlier this evening, because I've spent much of the time since I made my picks in Scotland and Wales. Since I didn't actually leave the UK at any point, I didn't rope Harvey Dent into helping me out this week. I've done the table update on a different OS from the usual one, so it might look not quite the same as it normally does.

Ol' Two-Face himself would've been joint top scorer alongside hbk4life this time out, had it not been for a last-minute Man City goal at Selhurst Park slightly inflating The Ratt's score to 14 points. Four of the other 19 participants wrongly disagreed with him, earning him 8 bonuses. That was enough to send him into second spot, still 6 behind seph who somewhat justified his lofty position with a double-figure haul in a low-scoring round (with an average of 8.15) in which most players got no exact scores.聽

Briefcase and Glenryck were equal lowest scorers this week on just 4 points apiece. The latter has now consequently dropped into last place, 2 points behind Zebra Kid Mark.聽

As for the matches: away wins for Spurs and Barcelona proved the most fruitful outcomes as they yielded almost all of the rare three-pointers, whilst at the other end of the spectrum, home victories at Carrow Road and Vicarage Road were the only results that turned out to be widely difficult to foresee. Correct scorelines were elusive elsewhere, however, due to a stalemate at The Hawthorns, a five-goal thriller at Leicester and a six-goal bonanza on the road for a Ronaldo-inspired Real Madrid. Triumphs for Man United and Valencia ended up generally slightly easier to guess.

A new set of 10 fixtures will be up in a new thread shortly... 聽
