Quick update for this weekend... First and second row seats have sold out, reserved third row are now available as well as first-come-first-served general admission seating. A full sell out is looking more and more likely so if anyone is on the fence about buying their tickets then you'd be well advised to unfence yourselves pronto.

Tickets are on sale here.

We're also releasing our 11th Anniversary show in it's entirety for free on YouTube for a week. Features a FSM Match Of The Year candidate in Zack Gibson's submission only match with Jack Gallagher as well as a TLC match between FutureShock Tag Team Champions The Models and TNA champions The Wolves. Anyone that was there that night will tell you what an incredible show it was. See it for free for now...

Hmmm...so if I'm not on the fence, but was planning on paying on the day...you reckon I should pre-book anyway?

^^^ and my own review of that show was here, earlier in this thread.  Excellent show, well worth checking out and a great glimpse of everything about FutureShock at it's very best.

Glad I've got our front row tickets for Saturday booked-up early.  The Anniversary shows since moving to Prestwich (so, 2014 and 2015) have been tremendous.

I'd say so if you can. It's a big walk up business venue. Hand on heart you most likely will get in on the day but it could be close. Besides, saves fancying about on the day.

For anyone not at last night's show... You missed out. Will post results, pics etc later as it turned into a bit of a late night.

Suffice to say that ringside seats for our October return to Prestwich have already sold out.

Late night...? I slept for 2 hours after spending the night in Fab Cafe, and then having to be up for PROGRESS

It was an epic twelve years in the making... Thank you to every single person that shouted, screamed, cheered, booed and made for an incredible atmosphere on Saturday at the Longfield Suite.

In results from the night...

Ashton Smith pinned Chris Ridgeway with the Go 2 Sleep in an all action opening match. Ridgeway lived up to his 'Smashmouth' nickname with a barrage of incredible kicks and strikes but it wasn't enough to keep Smith down.

April Davids finally squared off with Lana Austin for Austin's FutureShock Women's Championship. Davids had ploughed through all opposition since her return to FutureShock and early on it looked as though she might dominate the champion too. Lana Austin, showing incredible fighting spirit, weathered the storm and capitlized on Davids' growing frustration to pin her with a brutal DDT. This rivalry is far from over.

The FutureShock Tag Team Championship had been declared vacant due to an injury sustained by Joey Hayes, one of half of officially recognised champions The Models. The physical belts had been in the hands of Wonderland ever since they decided to simply take them from Danny Hope and Melanie Price. With no official champions a gauntlet match was signed with the four top teams competing.

The Sexy Gentlemen squared off with Soner Dursun and Sam Bailey to kick off the gauntlet. After an incredible back and forth match between two of the most popular tandems in the company it was the Gents that prevailed after a McGregor flatliner followed by Sexy Kev's top rope splash.

The Uprising stormed the ring immediately, looking to take full advantage of weakened opposition. Despite the advantage and some incredible team work Don Meacho and Ryan Hendricks couldn't keep the Gents down. In the end they also fell to a flatliner and top rope splash combination.

Wonderland emerged full of confidence to pick the bones. Too confident initially as a misplaced spear by Henry T. Grodd on Noah nearly led to a pinfall out of nowhere. In the end this twisted duo was simply too fresh and dangerous for the valiant Sexy Gentlemen. A Jabberwocky elevated DDT was enough to officially claim the titles for them.

Moments later Melanie Price emerged through the curtains, soon after followed by the returning Joey Hayes and Danny Hope. They came close to hitting the 3D Death Drop but their demented tormentors retreated. The Models are back and they clearly want those titles back.

One defiant champion and three challengers looking to make history... That was the scenario leading into the four way elimination match for James Drake's Adrenaline Championship. If Jack Gallagher, Cyanide or Xander Cooper prevailed then they would be the first ever Grand Slam champion, the first man to have held EVERY title in FutureShock.

13934688_10154019897731339_9033615921103

Cyanide dominated in the early going, much as you'd expect a four hundred pound monster to. Alliances formed and crumbled as his three foes were ragdolled around. In the end it took all three of them to chop the big man down and dogpile him for the pinfall.

The action continued with three men until James Drake's attempt to put Xander Cooper away with the Mr Mayhem DDT left him wide open for Jack Gallagher's estocado dropkick in the corner and subsequent pinfall.

With Drake's elimination we were guaranteed to see history made. Who would be the first ever Grand Slam champion? Gallagher and Cooper, no strangers to one another, went tooth and nail with the title on the line. James Drake returned to ringside and, unbeknownst to the referee, struck Gallagher with a forearm and left him open to a schoolboy pinfall elimination. Your winner, new Adrenaline Champion and the first ever FutureShock Grand Slam champion is 'The Man For All Seasons' Xander Cooper.

The eagerly anticipated rematch between Jenson Blake and Mark Massa had to wait as the big man from London town was ruled out of competition after surgery last week. In the end we had another rematch as Blake faced off against Deadly Damon Leigh, a man that dealt him a defeat in his Underground debut. This time around it was a win for the FutureShock Academy graduate when he caught Leigh with a huge jawjacker for a pinfall.

Main event time and number one contender T-Bone was beyond eager to get his hands on Zack Gibson, the man that took the FutureShock Championship from him. Liverpool's number one had been reluctant to lock horns with T-Bone, hence the chain match stipulation. Initially the champion refused to put the chain around his wrist until The Tattooed Terror had beaten him all over the building, putting him through the merchandise table for good measure.

The match was as brutal a standing fight as we've ever seen in a FutureShock ring. Both men used the chain to gain advantage, frequently striking and clotheslining each other with it. In the end it was an utterly ruthless Zack Gibson that took advantage of the no disqualification rule to kick T-Bone below the belt and then literally dismantle the ring to assault him with the turnbuckle and fling him shoulder first into the exposed post. Nevertheless T-Bone would not stay down. In the end it was a chain assisted Shankley Gates that did for the challenger when he passed out, refusing to tap out. The winner and still FutureShock champion, Zack Gibson.

One year ends... Another begins. With that in mind it's on to September and FutureShock Uproar 90.

The aftermath of our Twelfth Anniversary show is still fresh in our minds. FutureShock Champion Zack Gibson went to extreme lengths to retain his title against T-Bonein the insane chain match main event. In the end he retained via stoppage after a brutal chain assisted Shankley Gates but not before he'd kicked the challenger below the belt and literally dismantled the ring to assault him with it.

As he stood gloating several of the fallen tattooed warrior's friends came to his assistance. One was Ashton Smith, already victorious in the opening match. He stood eye to eye, face to face with the champion to make sure the assault on his comrade was done.

Smith would like nothing more than to become the next contender for the richest prize in FutureShock. Gibson, however, has some unfinished business with a man he cheated out of his title with a chain assisted right hook the last time we were in Stockport.

A tag team match has been signed as our main event for Uproar 90 on Sunday September 18th. It will be Ashton Smith and Rampage Brown joining forces against Zack Gibson and James Drake.

Why has Drake agreed to team with Gibson? What are his motivations? Can Ashton Smith prove that he deserves to be in contention for the title? Will Rampage settle the score?

Find out by being there. Sunday October 18th. Masonic Guildhall in Stockport. Tickets on sale NOW from www.futureshockwrestling.co.uk. Ringside seats SOLD OUT. Reserved second row available in limited numbers as well as general admission and family tickets.

Trophy Tournament season is upon us once again. Once again eight men will compete to become the FutureShock Trophy holder. A trophy that guarantees them a championship match any time they see fit. Past tournament winners include Xander Cooper, T-Bone, Cyanide and current champion Zack Gibson.

Speaking of former champions... Jack Gallagher would like nothing better than to bounce back from his WWE defeat by Akira Tozawa in style. A second trophy tournament win would do just that, especially if it led him back to the championship.

Jack's increased visibility has brought more attention, both to Jack and FutureShock. As such Jack's opponent in the first round of the Cruiserweight Classic has been in touch. Fabian Aichner would like nothing better than to get his win back and take a step towards FutureShock gold.

It was the match that stole the first round of the tournament that everyone is talking about. On October 15th it'll be the rematch everyone's talking about at Underground 19 in Prestwich.

Tickets on sale right now from www.futureshockwrestling.co.uk. First row sold out already.

  • 2 weeks later...

Two more matches announced for Uproar 90 on Sunday September 18th.

14222161_10154070739571339_3608116966991

The Sexy Gents, the team of Sexy Kev and Gentleman John McGregor fought their hearts out in the tag team championship gauntlet match but the odds were against them. At Uproar 90 they'll get a chance to regroup against a team that would no doubt love to be in contention for the titles themselves. They are Taboo and Rio, collectively known as The Island Brothers. Savage but not savages, they'll be a stern test for one of FutureShock's most popular units.

14203146_10154070739771339_1038501755045

Speaking of the tag division... Wonderland are now officially the FutureShock tag team champions. This didn't sit well with the former champs. Hence The Models made their return after the gauntlet and made it abundantly clear that they want back in the hunt. At Uproar 90 it will be one half of each team in singles competition as Delicious Danny Hope faces Henry T.Grodd.

Tickets are on sale now. Ringside sold out but limited reserved second row available as well as general admission.

Coming over here, taking our wrestlers... Pesky Vince.

If you're not aware that Jack Gallagher has signed with WWE and will make his debut a week on Monday as part of Raw's Cruiserweight Division... Well. We just hope that the rock you're living under has a nice garden.

No need to wish him luck. The Extraordinary Gentleman is the best wrestler in the world and it's only a matter of time before he's at the top of the business. We'll be there every step of the way. Trying to get free merchandise and kip on his couch in Orlando.

This has, however, left us with something of an issure surrounding Underground 19 in Prestwich on October 15th. We were looking forward to a Cruiserweight Classic rematch as a first round bout in the 2016 FutureShock Trophy Tournament. We put our heads together and this is what we've come up with...

14238356_10154085718446339_5613663870847

Fabian Aichner was eager to go toe to toe with Jack Gallagher, the man that knocked him out of the CWC in a match that many are calling the best in the first round. While we can't give him that we can give himself something else and, at the same time, give the FutureShock Faithful something else.

On Saturday 15th October Fabian Aichner will go one on one with Zack Gibson, a chance instead to prove himself against Liverpool's Number One. What's more the FutureShock Championship will be on the line.

A fearless high flying powerhouse against a man that considers it only a matter of time before he's recognised as the world's number one. This will be an epic bout.

Tickets are on sale now via futureshockwrestling.co.uk, ringside sold out. Second row and general admission available as well as family tickets.

If you were at Fab Cafe  in Manchester for the Twelfth Anniversary premiere then you'll have witnessed the actions and behaviour of Xander Cooper. Fresh off his history making Adrenaline Championship win at the 12th Anniversary show he was full of confidence as he addressed the FutureShock Faithful. The self-proclaimed company ambassador was outspoken in his desire to live the dreams that those watching could not.

It was at this point that FutureShock management's message was relayed to him. The message was that The Ambassador would have an opportunity to defend his title against the first Adrenaline champion. A man that was never pinned for the title, a man that has never recieved a rematch for the title and a man that holds a key victory over Xander Cooper.

14238127_10154083260021339_7259454266831

On September 18th in Stockport at the Masonic Guildhall it will be Xander Cooper verses Soner Dursun. Will this be the shortest Adrenaline Championship reign to date or will the champ take the gold back to his embassy?

Be there to find out. Tickets on sale now from futureshockwrestling.co.uk.

Lana Austin went to war with April Davids over the FutureShock Women's championship at the twelfth anniversary show. Here's what Fighting Spirit Magazine had to say about it...

"Lana Austin showed great heart and determination in overcoming the dominant, vicious April Davids with a DDT... One of the champ's best ever showings."

Lana and April came within a hair's breadth of stealing the show that night, proving that the FutureShock Championship is one of the most prestigious and storied titles in women's wrestling today.

With the spotlight on the women's championship brighter than ever we need to make sure that the next challenger really has earned that opportunity. With that in mind Uproar 89 on September 18th will see the launch of the FutureShock Women's Championship Top Contender Series.

Three qualifying matches will take place over the coming month and the winners of those three matches will advance to a triple threat match in December at Underground 20. The winner of that bout will become the number one contender to Lana Austin's championship. There will be familar faces, returns and possibly even a newcomer or two.

14199386_10154088512946339_6296499287494

We kick off the series at Uproar 89 on September 18th with a rematch... Two months ago April Davids faced off with a fiery Little Miss Roxxy. On that night Roxxy tapped to the Lights Out when the A-Bomb of the women's division contorted her almost in half. Does Roxxy have any new tricks up her sleeve? Will April have been affected by her shock loss at the Twelfth Anniversary?

Find out on September 18th at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall. Tickets on sale now from futureshockwrestling.co.uk.
