'Be careful when anointing anything to being the greatest thing of all time'

Well, they ignore this. Sort of. Everything is always 'the most significant moment in WWE history'.

Interesting find.

They blatantly ignore the "don't point out the obvious" rule though, Jerry Lawler in particular points out the clearly audible "this is awesome" chants whenever they happen saying "I AGREE WITH (insert town name here)".

It's fairly obvious right from the first "Do" that Jerry Lawler never took this document seriously.

I had a read of that earlier as it popped up on my FB news feed. Complete madness. I have no idea how anyone can digest all that and then come out with anything like what they claim to be looking for. So many rules and do-not's that I can only imagine you'd be sat there in silence having to think through every line in your head.

Although given the last time I watched WWE I just found myself finding it to be horribly over produced this document makes absolute sense.

Michael Cole does a brilliant job with this in mind.

I can see the logic in a lot of the points, but it's so nit-picky that it's very hard to project emotion and be yourself. You can see why they don't want JR anymore as he'd never be able to keep up with all of that. He is much better at naturally telling stories and getting the audience bought into the match or storyline though.

Why the fuck can't they say hospital?

This whole thing is filled with petty nonsense and contradictions are all over the place. Explains why the announcing is so bad though.

That one makes the most sense for me. Going back to the Super Fans debate in the minor news section, can you imagine the bunch of nutjobs that hear a wrestler's on his way to a local hospital, doing a google search of local hospitals to arena's and then turning up in A and E looking for them. It'd be mental, at least if they say medical facility it could mean anything from a Doctors to a drop in surgery to a hospital.
