Coming out of last nights RAW, here is what appears to be the final card for Extreme Rules:

Steel Cage Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title

Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins ©

Guardian of the Gate: Kane

The RKO is banned.

Russian Chain Match for the WWE United States Title

Rusev vs. John Cena ©

WWE Intercontinental Title Match

Bad News Barrett vs. Daniel Bryan ©

*MOST LIKELY CANCELLED

WWE Divas Title Match

Naomi vs. Nikki Bella ©

Kiss Me Arse Match

Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler

Last Man Standing Match

Big Show vs. Roman Reigns

Chicago Street Fight

Luke Harper vs. Dean Ambrose

Kickoff Pre-show: WWE Tag Team Title Match

The New Day vs. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd ©

Can't imagine we're going to anything too suprising.

If Bryan is as bad as has been reported I can maybe see them working a very barebones basic match and switching the title back to Barrrett.

The Kiss Me Arse match, I cant imagine they're going to have either man get their bare arse out in the PG environment, so I reckon someone's bringing out a donkey post- match for Ziggler to pucker up to

That ladder spot is one of those daft things in wrestling that makes perfect sense in a story they weren't telling. Dean Ambrose promised to stop Rollins cashing in the briefcase. On the night Rollins cashed in, Ambrose couldn't because Harper badly injured him in the ladder match.

Can someone please explain to me the Ambrose/Harper feud, what it's about, what sparked it etc? Not watched any WWE since Mania.

Edit: was it Harper who powerbombed Ambrose into the ladder at Mania? That might explain it to be fair.

It's the "we have two mid carders we can't be bothered to do anything with so we'll just make them wrestle eachother for no reason". You might recognize it, it's the same storyline they are currently doing with pretty much everyone else on the roster.

Good shout. I hadn't noticed it myself, but now that you mention it that's a nice bit of continuity, even if it's completely unintentional.

It's a shame though, because it's a nice little hook that would be cool to reference in the future. I don't know, maybe I'm just stupidly clinging onto hope, but with Rollins as champion I'd love for them to heat Ambrose back up and do a pay per view title match between Dean and Seth. It was a really great feud until Hell in a Cell and I'd love for it to be something they reference and go back to every few years.

I think it stems from then putting last year's Extreme Rules on the Network live stream recently. I managed to catch the Shield vs. Evolution match and was left utterly depressed at what damaged goods Ambrose and Reigns have become. They all looked so boss this time last year. What a mess.

Bollocks to it. At this point I'd like nothing more than to see a Shield reunion. As a trio those guys were the best.

Now you mention it Supremo, it's quite incredible where Ambrose and Reigns have ended up, seeing as it was only a few months ago both were looking like they were both on the way to becoming top top babyfaces. One is very much part of that WWE midcard booking and who knows where they go with Reigns after he lost his biggest singles match.

Quite annoying when you start to get into a babyface and WWE decide to give up and go in another direction. They need to get Reigns away from Show double quick after Extreme Rules, otherwise you definitely see another Sheamus situation. No idea why they decided Ambrose wasn't worth the time - I guess Bray Wyatt and his shite sucked all the life out of him.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ambrose win the next money in the bank if it means someone else Rollins is looking over his shoulder at. You could have Ambrose stalk him almost and sit at ringside during every match making Rollins sweat and look over his shoulder for the rest of the year then you have Brock, Reigns, Ambrose, Orton, Kane (if he turns) all chasing Rollins until Summerslam (or beyond) ending up with Rollins cracking, losing the belt and possibly setting up a triple threat match for the title at WrestleMania (Rollins to win the rumble, Reigns to be the champ and Ambrose to cash in). Then do your Reigns heel turn at Mania.

In an Article after Wrestlemania, They did make reference to Ambrose being injured during the Ladder Match as the reason why he didn't stop Rollins cashing in

Can't find the link to it but it was on WWE.com 2-3 days after Mania, so somebody somewhere did remember it and thought it was worth mentioning

Like you say though it would of been nice to someone to have made reference to it on TV (Even if it was just a passing one) to bring the story around and have some closure

I'd like to see the Kiss me arse match being less about childish but kissing literal humor and actually about metaphorical arse kissing where the loser has to stand in the ring and sing the praises of the winner. Because these guys are supposed to be super competitive and not like each other so of course having to compliment your rival would be awful. Simple maybe too simple but I like it

Hopefully they switch the belt back to Barrett or switch it up a bit.

Regarding why WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan was sent home from the recent WWE European tour, a WWE source stated to PWInsider that Bryan is indeed injured.

Bryan reportedly suffered an injury on April 9th at a WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland as he teamed with Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan to defeat Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett. We're not exactly sure what happened to him but there was an injury in that match that got him sent home.

When Bryan was first sent home, WWE officials expected him to be out of the ring for about a month. No word yet if that time-frame has changed but there's a chance they change Sunday's Extreme Rules match against Barrett.

Not sure if this was the suspected concussion or not. If it's in addition to it then he really is buggered
