Paid Members JNLister Posted April 13, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 13, 2015 They'll be the potential #2, but that's all it will be. The reason the channel is in so many homes is because it used to be the listings channel (like the one that's 996 on Sky). It mainly shows repeats of Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place. As far as I can see, it's either so lowly-rated that it doesn't subscribe to ratings data, or it's never had a show get enough viewers to make it worth mentioning in a press release. Â In terms of theoretical availability vs actual exposure, it's a bit like if a British promotion got a slot on Create and Craft and boasted about being available in every home in the country. Jon-Carr_92
It'll be worth a crack when it's on, I guess. Suppose we'll have to see where it goes.
Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted April 13, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 13, 2015 It's also a time-buy.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted April 13, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 13, 2015 The TV station seems low rent and the roster isn't anything to write home about. So the least you could hope for is a decent looking building and a hot Vegas crowd. Looking at this, doesn't look like that's happening either. They advertised national TV tapings on April 7th so I will apologise if this turns out not to be it. Â Â
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted April 13, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 13, 2015 The reason Jarrett isn't on these type of channels, when its so easy to get on them, is because to actually survive you need a TV company to pay you to be on there. I dont even see the point in this group running. The potential to create revenue streams to keep yourself alive is so limited. The fact they have Gangrel and Jesse Sorenson as the "names" isn't the best of starts.
Paid Members JNLister Posted April 13, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 13, 2015 To put it into context, somebody's pointed out that WWC (the Carlos Colon promotion in Puerto Rico) has the same level of exposure as it has a TV show on WAPA America which is on every cable and satellite system going. Hands up if you knew WWC had TV in the US.
