Yakashi
UFC Punk is the only one of two where he doesn't look like an angry drug addict. So that one. And he's got a suit.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted February 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 19, 2015 He looks infinitely better now than he did as a wrestler. He didn't have one good look.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted February 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2015 I liked this look. The Straight Edge Society era was really good. Â I liked his hoodies from his 2012/13 run, so if you combined that with this look, you'd have my combo. Anyone benefits from a zip up fleece or ring jacket. Its why Reigns isn't over. He needs a ring jacket. Â He looks dreadful in that Royal Rumble picture. Close to death even. Which apparently was a possibility if he never got his puss filled lump cut out (not a reference to AJ). DCW
All his looks were pretty shite, the shorn again look would be best from a bad bunch.
Paid Members herbie747 Posted February 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2015 Pipe bomb, because he looks kinda like Mike Patton.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 19, 2015 Author Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2015 I think the Best in the World run with the slicked back hair and full but tidy beard was his best look. Certainly what springs to mind if I think about him. I had good gear around the time, great music, defining T-Shirt and he looked as built as he ever did. If he'd have sorted out that fucking elbow drop, he'd have been near perfect. Â The contrast between those bottom two pictures really is scary. kickin it wit the kliq
His best look was when he wore those trunks with the Yankee pinstripes in Boston, they were superb.
Pinc
He looked great in the SES with the long hair and full beard, that's when he looked most like a proper wrestler. I liked the pipebomb look too, though around that time his knee/shin pads got really big for some reason, in a way that made him look smaller for having them on. I presume the intention was to make him look bigger, or maybe they were necessary to protect his knees, but it just made it look like he was wearing his big brother's gear. Â Once he shaved his hair off he went back to looking like a grumpy Games Workshop manager, an impression he wouldn't shed until his rebirth as UFC Phil. I actually hated the hoodies he'd wear during his heel title run. They didn't look like ring jackets, they looked like proper American Apparel jobs that anyone in the crowd might have been wearing. For someone who's main weakness was looking more like a wrestling fan than a wrestler I thought they were a real misstep. Â In fact given his name was CM Punk I never understood why Punk didn't walk around looking like the lads from Rancid or something. He'd have looked the bollocks dressed like your man with the mohawk there. Â
d-d-d-dAz
I liked the hoodies from the 'Timberpunk' era so I'm in for that. Though, when he came back from a layoff as the leader of the New Nexus he didn't look like death, so that's up there. Â I thought he looked really boss around the time of The Rock feud when he shaved his barnet, chucked on a hoodie and had Heyman carry his belt. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted February 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2015 Either the shaved head look during his brilliant heel run, or the Charles Manson Punk look. Â Both were spot on for what he was doing at the time. While it's probably the iconic Punk look, I wasn't a fan of the slicked hair, he looked like a right greasy prick. Mr_Danger
The Eddie Munster hair was fucking shit. Charles Manson Punk was the only look he pulled off and that was because he was meant to look like he needed a bath. The smelly bastard.
Paid Members Benno Posted February 19, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2015 I did like his indy look with the blonde hair and the basketball shorts, especially near the end in ROH when he started getting slightly less skinny fat. Â 2011 Best In The World though is his peak in every way.
Sexy Dad
I've gone with the Timberpunk one, the shaved head was a good move because his slicked hair used to turn into a right mess during a long match, and the end of his wrestling days hair was just unkempt, not particularly bad but didn't particularly fit a 'superstar look'.
