JMarshFan
Before i book a ticket to Januarys fan interaction i was just wondering what people experience were previously this year at the fan interactions. I know they've generally been bad, but the website says that TNA were praised for the improvements they made on this years fan interactions. Â - How much time did you get with the wrestlers? - Did you get 8 good wrestlers, or did they just send crap ones? - Was there a barrier infront of the tables? - Was someone there to take a picture for you? - How long did you need to wait to get in? Â Also, how do people think the British Bootcamp free meet and greets will go next year? Â Don't want to waste my money booking it if it's not going to be worth it, so would appreciate the feedback as i'm sure maybe other fans would aswell. I can never understand how they don't just do it like the fan interactions they have in america as they seem like they run really smoothly and are worth it. diamond_dust
I actually set up a Facebook page to try and get them to change how they were running them because we were paying a lot and weren't really getting any "interaction", rather some bell end in a sweater vest shoving people along and being really arrogant. To the point I saw him almost push over a guy on crutches one year. I know Dixie was aware of the page (I harassed her whenever I got chance with it) so I don't know how much of it was down to the fact she could see people weren't happy (probably not much but hopefully it helped), how much of it was down to the mean street posse reject no longer being there or if there were other things but last years was great. We got some of the bigger names on the roster at the time (Bully Ray/Bobby Roode etc) who aren't really huge names but when you look at the roster at the time it was pretty much the best we were going to get, we were allowed to talk to each wrestler, take pictures with each etc. It was the best they've done since the 2nd tour over here where each wrestler had their own table and you could just queue up for who you want to meet. When you compare it to the last few years where you just had to put your program down, get it scribbled on and move away asap before you got shoved by a prick it was a definite improvement.Personally I hope they go back to the old each wrestler has a table rather than the go down the line and meet everyone system. I've met most of the roster already so to me theres no point me taking up time meeting James Storm for something like the 6th time when someone who hasn't seen him before can have that time, but if they stick to how they did it last year I'll be happy. You got what you payed for for once.
Professor Paul's Bin
I went in 2012 and really enjoyed it. It was only about 20 quid for a ticket and I got pictures with loads of the roster including Sting. There were some arsehole fans and the security are stressed due to time constraints. Â I thought it was value for money considering that I've made 15 quid in the past just for one photo with a wrestler at UK shows before.
Paid Members Psygnosis Posted December 8, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 8, 2014 Also went to the 2012 one, very surprising how humble and interactive and had a great time. 2013/2014 they seemed a bit consumed for time due to the tapings but it seems to have changed again this year so hope it works out for the best. Jon-Carr_92
I went in Birmingham this year. I had heard all the criticism about not being allowed photos and being rushed along, but I bought it anyway, because it was my first major show and I thought why not. Here's how it went for me. Â I got the NIA ok. But the problem was finding the VIP suite/entrance it was being held at. Tried cutting across one of the car parks, but it was a dead end because they were renovating at the time. Had to point it out to a couple on my way back. Eventually, we found the path next to the canal and spotted guys flyering near it. One from PCW, the other from Kamikaze Pro. A tad awkward seeing as the former were advertising their highly anticipated show with AJ Styles. Anyone heard of him? But I digress. Still have them somewhere. Â Anyway, we (me and the couple I pointed away earlier) got there ok. Decent spot in the queue, only 40-50 ahead of us. They sold the programme to get signed, so I got one and got everything ready. The doors were due to open at 4:45, but they didn't open until 5 for some reason. Not a problem. The show was due to start at 7. So loads of time. Â The way they worked it was interesting. They had 4 tables on each side of the centre and barriers to separate two queues. They sent my lot one way, and the other lot the other way. So, the idea here is, you meet 4 wrestlers, go through the corridor, and go back to the other side. Interesting way of doing it. Have no complaints. Another thing was, they allowed photos. Had just the one myself. Â I met Velvet Sky, (my brother hates me!) Madison Rayne, Gunner, Bobby Roode, The BroMans & Zema Ion and James Storm. (Is it sad I remember the order in which I met them?) Also got Jeremy Borash's autograph after the show just before security were about to throw everyone out. Â Took a while to see the other side because so many people having photos with The BroMans and Storm, but other than that, got to the show fine. Had a great time. Bloody enjoyed Jokers Wild II. Was great to see it on TV. Managed to spot myself a few times, which was cool! Â All in all, I say go for it! Great opportunity!
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted December 9, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 9, 2014 You shouldn't complain. Usually TNA's fan interaction includes Robbie E shouting "alright mate" from across an empty baseball arena.
Jon-Carr_92
Forgot to add, I imagine the Boot Camp guys will be at the merch stand. They'll be there from doors open until bell time.
JMarshFan
Was there someone there to take a picture for you? or did you have to either take a selfie or get someone else to take it? Because i would probably be going in myself, would you be allowed to bring someone in who can take the picture for you even if they dont have a ticket? WyattSheepMask
No chance otherwise everyone would be bringing a mate with them to take photos.

I got the guy I pointed away from the dead end I mentioned earlier to take it for me. Didn't turn out great, but still ok enough. Everyone was having selfies mainly. Again, it's all time dependant. I've not had photos with every celebrity I've met, but it's still great to have the chance to meet them.
Nero
This years was much improved. Previous years consisted of handing your programme to the first wrestler at the table and then getting it back at the end of the table about 40 seconds later. No pics with the wrestlers due to said belligerent guy shouting at people to hurry up. Â At the Jan on this year I got my programme and cards signed by each wrestler and also my pic with them all. Â I just hope people at the 2015 interaction are able to meet the British Bootcamp people as well
LSM
I'm sure I read on one of the TNA Facebook pages that the boot camp wrestlers were doing a free meet and greet before the show.

Like I mentioned earlier in the Thread, Im guessing they'll be at the Merch booth from doors open until bell time. But I'm guessing they won't allow photos with them to save time.
