Fog Dude
So, I've scarcely been online in the 6 days since I made my picks for this round, but despite not having a connection at my new place yet, I've managed to put the final scores into the original post today and have uploaded a table of sorts via a Mac at the university. Sorry it's not as clear as it usually would be (just realised that the numbers on the left are messed up, but I can't be bothered to correct them if I'm not on my laptop). I hope you'll all be able to decipher that Ratty still leads despite an awful performance, and TUFCfan somehow did even worse to move level with Seph, who nevertheless remains ahead of Zebra Kid Mark by quite some margin. Shy Dad only wanted one correct score, but in fact got 3! He was the only participant into double figures this time out, and so moves up to fifth. His namesake Stinky didn't need to apologise for not posting immediately. Now that thread sub-headings have been replaced by tags, it's not immediately obvious from the forum menu whose turn it is for D2D. He got his bet wrong as Liverpool slumped to a Saturday teatime defeat at Upton Park, although unusually, only 6 of the other 21 players could bring themselves to back West Ham and claim bonus points. I saw Prince Nana's message in the previous thread before I left last week and corrected the mistake immediately, so his score and position should be accurate now. The quip by ultimo about pensioners playing in the MLS I of course found hilarious. The Leicester match was a dud, but a couple of people did plump for a draw. Swansea's home defeat wasn't widely foreseen, but there were a few exact scorelines guessed from the American outcomes. Juve's win at Milan proved fruitful, as did the Tayside derby, even though no-one successfully got the exact score despite some close calls. Don't think anybody quite got a three-pointer from the comfortable Arsenal victory on the road at Villa either. Lots of people rightly went for a draw at Turf Moor, but a stalemate was not such a popular prediction. Right, a new thread should be up tomorrow, but it won't be there at its usual time of first thing in the morning. With any luck, the FPL routine should be back to normal within a week or two. In the meantime, thanks everyone for patience and understanding.
