Ars
Robin Williams has died, apparent suicide. Such a shame, grew up on his films, he could do great comedy as well as being an amazing dramatic actor. RIP!

Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 I can't get my head around this. They're saying suicide by asphyxiation. Â Williams was quite possibly one of the best comedians of his time, some of his stuff was utterly brilliant. His dramatic performances as well were just incredible. Â The Family Guy episode where Peter turns everyone into Williams was on BBC3 this evening, it made me wonder how his career was going as I hadn't heard anything from him in a while. Â Fuck. Paid Members chokeout Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 Sky news are reporting it. He's been in and out of therapy and rehab for years. If true it's sad news  Early reports seem to be that he's hung himself. Got to be in a horrible place mentally to go through with that.

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 sad news  i think everyone grew up loving at least one movie he appeared in, some classic stuff both comedy and drama wise. Poor bugger.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 I would have known him from Mork & Mindy before any of his films. Weirdly, I can't remember watching him in a film before The Fisher King.
Paid Members Nick James Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 Strange thing is, BBC 3 showed the episode of Family Guy tonight, where Peter turns anyone he touches into Robin Williams. Â What a big loss, grew up on his films and I think there was only 'Toys' that I wasn't really fond of. Jack still makes me shed a tear to this day. Paid Members Fox Piss Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 He had a show with Sarah Michelle Gellar last year that may have just been canceledMrs Doubtfire was a guarantee on last day of school when teacher rolled in the tv and VHS. Dead Poets and Good Will Hunting both fall under "inspirational movies" for me when first viewed. Carpe Diem indeed.RIP.
Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted August 11, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 11, 2014 Off the trending things on Twitter I can't believe how many films and TV he was part of I really, really loved. He was probably one of the bigger stars of my childhood in hindsight. I can't get my head around this at all.
