Paid Members tiger_rick Posted August 1, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2014 So with this news posted by Ian in another thread: What's going on here? --Regarding the WWE magazine, the final issue will be the October issue, which hits the streets on 9/16. The magazine could possibly continue using an outside publisher where the company would lease out its name, but WWE itself will no longer be producing it. Is it common knowledge they were jacking the magazine in? I must have missed this. Got me thinking how much I bloody loved the covers of these things. Post your favourites. Here's my top 3: This was the first one I bought. Remember reading the WM7 report avidly on a school trip: This is a classic. Brilliant use of colour. Plus I was a Warrior mark. And this is brilliant. As a huge Bret fan, this was just fucking awesome to see:
The Reverend
Always liked this one - just looked so intense!!
Reznor
That Warrior one doesn't half highlight what a brutal time mid 1992 was in the WWF. Summerslam was a minor miracle!
TheShowOff
The first wrestling magazine I had bought for me as a 6 year old.

Mattyc
This cover from the January 1992 issue is the first one that always springs to mind when I think of WWF Magazine just for the simple fact it was the first one I bought. As far as the cover I remember most... It's another January cover oddly enough, this time from 1994. I've always liked the never ending TV image effect and this cover has stayed in my brain for years. And this is not strictly an issue of WWF Magazine but I remember getting some funny looks on the bus when I went on it carrying this freshly purchased issue of RAW Magazine... Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted August 1, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2014 Heres some scans I posted a few months ago when I was going through my WWF mags. Some fine stuff, including a very evil looking Doink and a Mega Maniacs shirt I didnt even remember existed. Also, WWF's open letter to any cunt who they were mad at and a rather poor reason why Hogan was allowed to keep the belt at WrestleMania IX. LEGIT
They're brilliant, Ian. Did Doink ever appear on TV with they teeth? Also the seldom seen white Repo Man attire is on display there.

Paid Members Quentin Posted August 1, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2014 I was five and a half when this came out and had only ever seen them once at my cousins house because we didn't have cable at the time and they were just the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. I'm sure I made a right performance to either my mum or my nan to get this bought for me. That magazine did some cracking covers over the years. I remember having to tactically buy Raw magazine from my newsagent because there was an old bloke in there who wouldn't sell it to me a few times because he thought it was porn or something. I thought it had all just evolved into the kid's magazine now and the regular mag was gone?

Weird thing to put next to Razzle magazine if you ask me.
