Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted May 6, 2014 Awards Moderator Share Posted May 6, 2014 I was reading the RAW results this morning, and the website had posted a link to a Joey Styles tweet, which itself linked to a video called 'WE FOUND THE SMACKDOWN FIST!'  It appears to be episode 2 of a series where Styles visits the WWE Warehouse and meets with the WWE Archivist. They find some cool items and tell you all about them. This episode is absolutely fascinating - who knew so much thought went into a giant fist? Plus the fact they still have the thing, it's fantastic.  focuses on WrestleMania rings, and also features WWE's master ring maker, plus more trivia (WM29 had a heated ring!). It definitely looks like this is going to be an ongoing series, which is really good news because I can't even begin to imagine all the stuff they've got there. I know the Warehouse has featured on segments of a few DVDs in the past, but I love that it's getting its own little series. I don't know about anyone else, but I would quite happily watch a full series of 'stuff in the Warehouse'. The place is begging to become a museum, or at the very least, a touring exhibition or a place you can book guided tours of.  As for the archivist, I want that man's job. The video ends with asking you to tweet him with requests for stuff you want him to dig out for future episodes. The mind boggles at what they could come up with - aside from the obvious things, there must be no end of obscure stuff that's been kept. What would you want to see? And I'm not alone in thinking the Warehouse is a glorious place that any one of us could spend weeks in?
kickin it wit the kliq
I want to see the house from the In Your House entranceway, I loved that set
TezzRexx
Watched the first episode and it's truly fantastic. The heated ring is mind boggling, makes you wonder what other things are being done completely unnoticed to help with events. Â Also goes to show how far WWE is in being leagues ahead of everyone else.
TheShowOff
This show has the potential to unearth some amazing things. Â Whatever happened to the CM Punk warehouse tour? I bought the DVD, it was now here to be seen.
King Pitcos
Here's Foley in the warehouse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_foF6JlKFf8  And Kofi: http://www.wwe.com/classics/kofi-kingston-...arehouse-photos   They've kept lockers with Head Bangers graffiti on, was that from a merchandise catalogue?  I didn't realise the choppy choppy pee-pee sword was a Highlander replica! They got 'beat up' by LOD figures.

ninevisions
Why on earth have WWE not done a museum? I bet there's that much on the shelves gathering dust that the series probably won't be able to cover that would look great on display than on shelf. They probably will do when TNA fold and they get the Impact Zone's premises.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 6, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted May 6, 2014 They dont need to wait until TNA folds. They dont hold exclusivity to Universal. In fact TNA doesn't have any deal with Universal anymore. They just pop in and out when its free and if its not available they have to go and spend $600,000 running an arena. They really fucked themselves when they left without notice in 2013. If WWE wanted to open up a museum or a physical Hall of Fame at Universal, they'd do it. That was one of the conditions in TV negotiations earlier in the year actually, so it may actually happen sooner than later.
The Dart
According to the WWE 50 book the warehouse is home to books and books of Vince's handwritten notes, schedules, meetings and results of all live events he put on (would be nice to think he still does that)
