WyattSheepMask
I had trouble getting on the other night onPS3 but that was due to the PSN hack. I did learn that I don't need to be signed into PSN to access Netflix though, but you do for the network
Paid Members Benno Posted December 28, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Is anyone else having trouble getting on to the network? Last few days I cant get into the damn thing, its going to the link for the homepage but it just wont load so i've got a blank screen of white, the link shows as Video-WWE, which it does to get to the start but nothing I cheked unblock US etc and its workin fine so its really odd. You using Chrome? Seen the Observer twitter tweeting about that issue. Try Chrome's Incognito mode or another browser in the meantime. Doog
Aye im using Chrome. Just tried it on IE and incognito, got me to the login page this time but when I put my details in it just took me back to where it was before! Argh so frustrating. Hopefully sorts itself out soon. Paid Members Benno Posted December 28, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted December 28, 2014 Seen other people saying clearing cache/cookies in Chrome worked for them. Other than that, maybe join the hundreds of people tweeting @WWENetwork with no response.
4chords
I've signed up to the Network this morning, have it running through my PS4 using Unblock US. Thinking of getting a separate box just to run the Network through, so that we can still use Iplayer and the UK based apps. Has anyone got any recommendations? Was looking at Apple TV, but has anyone else had any experience of using it from the UK?
Paid Members marc2j Posted January 2, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted January 2, 2015 Been using an Apple Tv to watch the Network since launch. Its good. But there are cheaper alternatives available like the Roku box etc
Paid Members JNLister Posted January 2, 2015 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 2, 2015 You shouldn't need a separate box if you are using Unblock US. On my PS3 at least, I've changed the settings to use Unblock US to get WWE Network, but UK apps like iPlayer work fine. That's because, unlike some similar services, Unblock US doesn't simply make your device look American to every site. Instead it only has an effect on specific sites. 4chords
Thanks for the details guys. Have realised that the Iplayer works fine, so am probably gonna leave things as they are for now.
Abe_Knuckleball_Schwartz
Did there use to be Coming soon on the WWE Network page on WWE.com? Cannot seem to find it anymore.
Paid Members JNLister Posted January 3, 2015 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 3, 2015 There wasn't a dedicated page, but there was a question in the FAQ. It's still there but only refers to 2014. The only listed things that haven't shown up are Saturday Morning Slam plus the Rock 'n' Wrestling Cartoon (which was listed as tentative.) Thanks for that, Im guessing that the adding of new content will be ramped up for Wrestlemania season.
Abe_Knuckleball_Schwartz
Just received an update to say that the Network will be available in the UK on the 19 January.
Direct Impact
Here's a link from WWE http://www.wwe.com/wwenetwork/watch-in-united-kingdom £9.99 a month
LCJ
Seems unfair that we have pay more than every other country. Hoping that I can carry on using my Paypal account to pay $9.99 a month and stop using VPNs to trick my devices to think they're in the US and it will work anyway. WyattSheepMask
Just I time for people to moan about the live stream going down during the Royal Rumble. Might just stick with using UnblockUS and keep paying the $ rather than £. The saving is marginal I know, only about £12 over the year, but that's 2 months of NJPW World paid for by doing so
