Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 22, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2014 What's happened with the international launch? I don't really visit any other sites so I've no idea. Did it all go to plan? Not seen anything about it on their TV at all, seems pretty low key.
The Dart
Before the Network came out I remember it being that you'll get all PPV's starting with Mania 30 but after that you'll have to still pay for the Wrestlemanias. But recently I thought I heard JBL say something along the lines of "And you get all the PPV's up till the Royal Rumble 2015" or something to that effect on Raw a week or two ago. I don't suppose if anyone knows if all PPV's are always going to be on the network as they have been or was a "for the first year only" type of deal? They showed a promo for the Network at NOC which specifically showed the Mania 31 logo.

All 'PPVs' are staying on the network include WrestleMania. The reason JBL names specific shows during a particular pitch is that they are the ones in the next six months, so you'll be getting them even if you don't renew after the minimum term. Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted September 22, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2014 Do you think when the Network hits over here you'll be able to use it with rooted tablets? I hate that shit. Sky Go is terrible for that.
Jas
Sorry but what is the official date for the Network hitting the UK?

Paid Members Murtz Posted September 23, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 23, 2014 Not read through this thread so apologies if already mentioned. I usually watch a PPV on Monday night after it has aired. Would this be possible on the network? As in.. The PPVs are not only viewable live right? Slapnut
They get added to the VOD as soon as the live PPV finishes.

twelve_grand
  There's no product to sell in the UK, spunking money on Google ads and the like when there's no mechanism to preorder doesn't make sense.  I agree on your test load point but not here - my point was they had bought google search word ads for "wwe network uk" but they were pointing at useless (in fact misleading) information.  Anyhow we're a week out and we still have no information on what will  be launched etc.
children of bodom
wwe shop is saleing a roku starter pack which you can pick up the network from. will these devices come over the uk?? I don't really want to hook my computer up to my tv unless I have too
Slapnut
You can get a Roku in the UK from Currys and the like. Do some research before buying one though, they're notoriously difficult to set up with a VPN to watch the Network and US Netflix. No big fanfare or anything... it just worked.
MichaelMush
So less than a week until the apparent Network launch in the UK now and no information has been given about it. If it is launching next week then you'd think they would be plugging it like mad. I just hope it's not a watered down version of the US version because without the monthly PPV's on it I can't see much people forking out for it here. WyattSheepMask
I reckon it will just added to App stores on Wednesday morning and they'll make passing reference to it and RAW saying it launches on Wednesday, and they'll edit in some kind of ad for Fridays Smackdown saying that it's now available
