MarkDallas Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Our documentary which was filmed over several months for BBC Scotland will now be shown throughout the entire UK on March 11 at 10.35pm (Northern Ireland and Wales I think it will be 11pm). Â Very happy that the bosses at television centre considered the documentary good enough to get bumped up from regional to nationwide. Â for more info and some clips check out the BBC page for Insane Fight Club Â
Guest Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I'll admit before I bumped into Grado at the fringe I knew nothing about ICW, and had discounted wanting to watch anything brittish wresting related. Watching what I could on YouTube has engaged me, and has me trying to talk mates into going along to a show. I even heard people in a pub in Glasgow on a Friday night talking about how they were having a quiet Friday to save themself for an icw show later in the weekend. Looking forward to watching the doc, even if my interview at the fringe doesn't make the cut well done
Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted February 26, 2014 Awards Moderator Posted February 26, 2014 Just watched the clips on the BBC website, I'll be tuning in for sure. The video with Grado and Nicky Clarke is fantastic!
The Invisible Boy Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Oh this looks awesome, I remember catching some of the ICW shows on that Sky channel and thinking it was really good. Stand out match was some women's No DQ match where they actually did a flip over some stairs backstage, really awesome. Was pretty gutted when they stopped showing ICW. Can't wait to see this and hopefully it will get enough interest to pick up a TV show again.
wrestlingmad Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Cant wait to catch it. Clips are great fun to watch. The ICW show in London should be a great success from this documentary.
Alex Wright Mark Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'm so glad for ICW that good things are happening. This was the promotion that made me feel positive about pro wrestling again. Seriously can't wait for this documentary. Â Grado is going to be an even bigger star once this airs.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted February 27, 2014 Moderators Posted February 27, 2014 Cant wait to catch it. Clips are great fun to watch. Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted February 28, 2014 Paid Members Posted February 28, 2014 Is thre going to be an ICW London show?? I might have to go to my first Britwres show in fucking years for that! Â Do it. I hadn't been to a non WWE/TNA show for aaaaages until a few months back for ICW. So worth it. It's a great night out.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 28, 2014 Paid Members Posted February 28, 2014 Wow, does this make ICW the UK's first truly nationwide promotion outside All Star and Joint/Dale-Martin? Or did Hammerlock also run Scotland as well as England (or did I dream that)? Â Either way, though, congratulations to all you guys for doing so well. This is a real, solid success, not one of those half-arsed ones we used to see so often ("Catch SlamDunkWrestling on national [cable] TV on Telewest, at 12:45am!").
Wideload Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Were you guys in the BBC at Pacific Quay on 14th February? My wife works there and texted me very excitedly to tell me there were wrestlers in the building. True story.
Brian Elliott Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 I don't really need to hype this for anyone, but I've seen it and it is very good. You'll wish it was two hours!
