Paid Members Surf Digby Posted February 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2014 I'm another one that had a soft spot for Viscera, and like his white Mohawk phase as much as his Big Daddy V phase. Â He had an absolute blinder of a match with Val Venis on a house show (on Kane's birthday, no less) I was at.
False Alarm!
I can't ever say I was his biggest fan, but I really did enjoy his ECW run as Big Daddy V. Â R.I.P.
Shane O' Mac Version 2
Damn. RIP Viscera. He had his moments in WWE, I liked the whole World's Largest Love Machine thing and his run as Big Daddy V, despite the wrestling attire grossing me out. Â My fondest memory related to him was my first WWE show in 2005, someone got a bed sheet and wrote a huge "Viscera for World Champ" on it. It was hung out of the multi storey carpark so that the wrestlers arriving in the tour buses could see it. Batista, the world champion at the time, seemed to get a major kick out of it. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted February 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2014 I enjoyed him as Viscera too. I loved his entry at the 2000 Royal Rumble where the crowd let out an "AWWWW" when they saw this huge bloke stomp out. Â Shame.
RIDDUM_N_STYLE
Damn what a shock this is, loved his run as the Love Machine wearing the big purple pjs. Much like Yokozuna he was so agile for a big guy. R.I.P Big Vis
patiirc
Always thought he had one more run left in him. His rag dolling of jobbers was always a delight! 42 is no age to go. Heart attack wasnt unexpected given his size though. Is 42 the equivalent of the music worlds 27? Boss Man, Earthquake, Elizabeth and Mike Awesome all passed at 42. Â RIP Big Vis
KingOfMetal
Mike Awesome commited suicide though. As far as I'm aware there was no suggestion his health would have killed him at 42 Â He had an absolute blinder of a match with Val Venis on a house show (on Kane's birthday, no less) I was at. Â Is there any relevance to it being Kane's birthday?

Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted February 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2014 Ah that's a shame. Enjoyed MoM and Viscera. I never saw his Big Daddy V stuff, might take a look. RIP.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted February 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted February 19, 2014 I quite liked him as heel King Mabel. I've alalways liked the big fat guys. Liked MoM too. Never been a big fan of his since. Sad so hear of anyone going at 42. Â Knew he was young in Men on a Mission but not that young.

Shane O' Mac Version 2
Wikipedia said 42 earlier today, but his agent made a statement that said he was 43, so someone's amended it. I'd say his agent would be a fairly reliable source.
KingOfMetal
Wikipedia says he was 43 when he passed. Where did this 42 come from? Throws pat’s stats out of kilter a little.  Oh right, everything I've seen said 42 so far..  Edit  His birthday was Feb 14th? So turned 43 last Friday?  Eh?  Wiki has it listed as D.O.B 24/1/1965- D.O.D. - 17/2/2007 So acording to that, he would have been 49 if he was still alive today
