GBWWrestling Posted February 13, 2014 Share Posted February 13, 2014 GBW Great British Wrestling returns to the Richmond Hill Community Club on March 1st following a great show at the end of the 2013. This show promises to be one of the best in GBW history with what is shaping up to be a great card!   Champion Vs Champion Match  The GBW Heavyweight Champion Liam Lazarus takes on the GBW International Champion 'The Armbar Superstar' Dan James in this huge main event match! On Liam Lazarus' debut back in October 2013 he promised that he was here for one reason, to get straight to the top! His first match at GBW was against Dan James in a first round match for a chance at the GBW Cup and to be the number 1 contender for the GBW Heavyweight title. Dan James came out victorious, pinning Lazarus and progressing to the next round. Since then, Lazarus has made his way to the top, taking out all who stood in his way and, at Richmond Hill Community Club, earned himself the GBW Heavyweight title. Dan James went on to win the GBW International Title and now we have it Lazarus has challenged Dan James to a non-title match. Will Lazarus get the win and prove that he is the best GBW has to offer? Will Dan James once again prove that his armbar is too much for the GBW Heavyweight champion? Find out on March 1st!  6 Man Elimination Match  On March 1st Joey Divine and Chris Hawk will team up with Gareth Angel forming Team Angel and taking on GBW Owner Phillip Alexander and Anarchy Inc in this 6 man elimination match! Back at GBW Carnage in February, Angel and Alexander exchanged words at the start of the show, setting up a deal that would either make or break Angel. If Alexander and his regime won any one of their matches scheduled that night then Angel and his team would be suspended for 6 months. Should Angel's team win both matches then Angel would get his shot at Alexander one-on-one at GBW Death or Glory in April. Angel and Joey Divine went on to dominate their matches that night, confirming that Angel was infact keeping his position at GBW. Following this Angel has insisted that on March 1st, Team Angel will take on Team Alexander to prove that they are the dominant team. But who will get the edge and win the elimination match? With everything to fight for, and Angel's job now once again secure, does his team have what it takes to defeat Phillip Alexander and Anarchy Inc?
