Fog Dude
Two games have been lost to the atrocious conditions so far. Wednesday and Charlton probably won't try again for another 10 days, so picks for that match are void. However, in the event the postponed Trophy tie goes ahead on Monday or Tuesday night, scores for that will still count.

Fog Dude
The final scores are now in the opening post and the table has been updated. There's no change in the order of the top 5 or the bottom two, but the important gap in each case has been closed. It's now 'only' 26 points at the summit, and 6 at the other end after Seph neglected to play. He could've still scored some points if he'd bet on the delayed FA Trophy game. I don't normally allow Monday fixtures outside of August Bank Holiday, Christmas and Easter, but postponed cup ties that are played within a few days of the original date are eligible to count, and this has been standard practice for a few years now, even though the rule rarely needs to be invoked. Not going to dwell on lowest and highest scorers this time out because I'd rather not toot my own horn, so let's get straight to the matches. Wins for Everton and Real Madrid (how often are they mentioned in the same breath, unless you're talking about Thomas Gravesen?) proved the most fruitful with the latter's exact score easier to guess. Victories for Arsenal, City and Cambridge Utd, along with a draw in Seville, were generally good for at least one-pointers, while The Blades' surprise second-half turnaround at home to Forest didn't in fact catch out too many participants. Less useful were Havant's failure to take a first-leg lead against Gosport in the aforementioned rearranged game, and Celta Vigo's shock triumph at El Madrigal, where they scored a second only after a smoke bomb was let off and the game should perhaps have been abandoned (also, if the 1-0 scoreline had stood, I'd have got 2 more points this week, but hey ho). A void fixture at Hillsborough automatically means a dud, of course. This is already running about a hour later than I'd like it to considering I'm now safely back in the UK, so I'll get on with the next thread as quickly as possible.
