Arguably one of the very best tag teams in the world today and Fighting Spirit Magazine's UK Tag Team of the Year 2013 are coming to Pitbull Pro Wrestling this March!

Confirmed Matches

Main Event

JD Knight vs. 'The Mexican Sensation' El Ligero

knight_ligero_zps389db578.jpg

JD Knight is one of the most despised wrestlers in the UK, he combines brains and brawn to secure victories at any cost. El Ligero has carved his niche as one of the most exciting, well traveled and well respected grapplers to hit the British Isles. Yet despite these two competitors having a combined career length of over 20 years they have never faced each other in singles action .

This will change on March 22nd 2014 when two of the best established wrestlers in the UK meet in the squared circle for the first time ever in singles competition at Wrestival 2014! Both men have momentum behind them going into this match. Knight remains undefeated at Pitbull Pro having picked up two impressive victories whilst 'The Mexican Sensation' is hot on the heels of an exciting Pitbull Pro debut where he beat New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiromu Takahashi.

Predicting an outcome for this match is tough! Which of these two men will leave Wrestival 2014 with a victory? Purchase you tickets early from Ringside World to find out now.

Grudge Match

Matt Lomaxx vs. Van Wicked

The feud between these two men came into existence back in August during the main event of Pitbull Pro Wrestling's debut show, Summer Spectacular, when 'The Man Mountain' targeted and eventually eliminated Van Wicked during the King of Summer Rumble match. Knowing the psychological edge Lomaxx would have over Wicked following their Rumble altercation The London Riots introduced him as their mystery partner to challenge Van Wicked and The Lion Hearts last November at Winter Warfare 2013.

Wicked and The Lion Hearts managed to pick up a hard fought victory following a top rope elbow drop delivered by Wicked onto the big monster, Matt Lomaxx. However, Lomaxx and The Riots weren't through and attacked their opponents from behind during their post match celebrations. Lomaxx fueled by the hatred of being pinned by his smaller opponent delivered his devastating finishing move, The Package Piledriver. The fans feared the worse for Wicked as he lay on the canvas motionless until chants of 'Wicked' drove him to his feet. He subsequently made the challenge to Lomaxx to go one on one at Wrestival 2014!

Will Wicked be able to overcome his larger opponent in one on one competition? Will the untamed monster target the injured neck and how will the injury affect Wicked's game plan?

Crowd, IDK, over 100, less than 200.

1. Antonio De Luca beat Sam Wilder

Had no reason to cheer Sam Wilder except Luca cheated a couple of times so this felt flat.

2. Project Ego beat Lion Hearts

Project Ego are fucking awesome.

3. El Ligero beat JD Knight

Kids love El Ligero

And we went home after that at the interval.

Second half probably had Phil Powers beating Jamie Farrell followed by Van Wicked winning in the main event against Lomaxx?

Maybe there was an angle too after that match.

We left because it didn't feel worth hanging around after those two matches being in the first half (Ego's and Ligero's).

Last time I saw a show with El Ligero, Jamie Farrel, and Phil Powers on I left at the interval after seeing El Ligero main-event the first half too.

We'll be back at the next show! We felt we got our money's worth with what we saw and it's just a walk up the hill for us :)
