SUNDAY 11th MAY - DOORS 3PM - SHOW 4PM

RUSHCLIFFE ARENA , WEST BRIDGFORD , NOTTINGHAM

It is our tremendous honour to announce we have booked one of the most famous light heavyweight wrestlers of all time - Sean Waltman aka X-Pac aka The 1-2-3 Kid! Now in his 24th year as an active wrestler he's about to do something he's never done before in his long, storied career - Debut with an English wrestling promotion. The last time he wrestled in England was in 2002 for the only promotion he's ever wrestled in this country for, the World Wrestling Federation. So we are incredibly pleased to be the very first English promotion Sean Waltman has ever appeared for.

A ground breaking performer in the early 90's he showed that talent could not be denied regardless of size. The only man to be wrestle as part of - The New World Order and D-Generation X - He's had lengthy stints in the WWF, WCW, TNA and the WWE where he is a former WWF Tag Team Champion, WWF European Champion, WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, WCW World Tag Team Champion, WCW Cruiserweight Champion and TNA X-Division Champion. A soon to be WWE Hall Of Famer, Waltman has had a career that most wrestlers would aspire to achieve.

Making his English Indy debut for ourselves Waltman was determined to only face the best of the Southside roster, the best of England. We have a lot of talent who are lining up for the opportunity to face him, a lot of wrestlers who have looked up to Waltman during his career - Southside Heavyweight Champion, Mark Haskins. Former Speed King Champion, Robbie X. El Ligero. The current reigning and defending Speed King Champion, Martin Kirby. Kris Travis. Former Speed King Champion, Marty Scurll. We have a lot of options as for the man who will face Waltman in what will surely be an incredible main event. Rest assured that you WON'T want to miss this!

Kirby believes that he should face X-Pac

3 years ago we were involved with 1PW ( thank god we pulled out ) and believed that we had X-Pac booked for a show for May 2011. At the original Battle of the Egos we had a 4 way match where the winner would face X-Pac. Kirby did in fact win this match and feels that although it is 3 years later he is still very much entitled to have this match. We are considering our options.

I'd be up for Kirby against X-Pac. With X-Pac's success mostly coming in the form of holding three major American promotions light weight belt, maybe he should be given a Speed King Title match, providing Kirby retains in April at the very least?

Kirby has to defend his belt on March 2nd , if he wins that he will be going to Speed King where there is only a 8.333333% chance of him walking out with title so looking unlikely that he will be champion by then. However we know how good Kirby is and if one man could beat them odd's it would be him !
