jjridpath Posted January 13, 2014 Author Share Posted January 13, 2014 Straight off the bat we are focused on British wrestling that is the "selling point" of the magazine. FSM and Powerslam are more focused on mainstream wrestling, even though they have made strides in last few years to feature more British wrestling content it is not on the same ratio as their coverage of WWE, TNA or some cases even their coverage of MMA. That is the main difference because we are not trying to be a general or mainstream wrestling magazine, we are going to be a British wrestling magazine. We are going to have a good mixture of Interviews, Reviews, Features, and even some light-heart content. The art direction is going to be very unique for a wrestling magazine because once we sell out all of our copies of Issue 1. We then have the money to do our own photo shoots with British wrestlers. So it allows us to produce a product which from cover to back page is all of our hard work. I have been in publishing for over 7 years so my main expertise is getting publications on the shelves and in this case to promoters and through other vendors. The editor of publication has a decade experience in wrestling journalism and is currently the co-editor of Total Wrestling Magazine. Feel free to ask anymore questions. We will be selling cards separately for collectors and we will do packs separate to the magazine. The first four trading cards. We have 9 preorders so we have 41 left. Our current budget is very small but the great thing is if the magazine is even moderately successful it will allows us to make the magazine bigger to A4 and also increase the pages. We have nearly finalised all of the trading cards for Issue 2 so far we have Adrian Street, Keith Myatt, The Hunter Brothers, Zack Sabre Jr, Dave Mastiff, Mark Andrews, and Doug Williams. If you take up our 4 Issue subscription you are guaranteed all the trading card packs for Issue 2, 3, and 4. If you order or subscribe before the 1st April then you will be entered into a competition to win 2 free tickets to a British wrestling event of your choice. We also announced the 9th trading card for Issue 2 which will be Kay Lee Ray. At the moment we will only be printing 60 magazines for Issue 1 obviously that is not including any preorders or subscriptions after today. We have a deadline for preorders and subscriptions which will be Monday 10th March. After then we can not guarantee you will get a printed version of the magazine. Obviously based on the number I gave above there will be an excess of 17 after that the stock will be gone for Issue 1. I just wanted to be as transparent as possible for those who are interested in buying the print version. Thank you for all those who have supported us over the last two months. Sorry if it is a tad confusing. You have around 12 hours to guarantee your 4 issue subscription. After tomorrow you will be able to subscribe for four Issues but it will be limited to around 10 orders. The main reason for this is that we want all subscriptions to end at the same time because hopefully after Issue 4, we will be making big changes to the magazine, trading cards, and we have a few other surprises in store. So after today you will be able to get a 3 Issue subscription and then after Issue 2 you will be able to do a 2 Issue subscription. Saves you a little money and will give you an idea if you want to still subscribe after Issue 4. Hopefully this makes sense. So the long and short of it is if you want the 4 issue subscription. You have 12 hours left to do so. Plus we still have 7 trading card packs left and you will more then likely secure all trading cards for the 4 issue subscription.
