MVP RULZ
Phew Just got in on time, I was at work then it dawned on me I hadn't done this week picks, then it frightened me that this actually might be my D2D game and I was missing out completely (and given the current score It would of netted a few bonus points i think) but glad to come on here as I've come home for lunch to watch the 2nd half of our game that early games are not included. Fog Dude
Yeah, I'd earmarked the Leeds game ages ago for your turn. Blame whoever switched it to any early start for you lack of bonuses. The match I had in mind for Liverpool in a couple of weeks got brought forward to a lunchtime kick-off, so I decided to swap the D2Ds round at short notice on Thursday morning. You're generally an early picker as well, so you were probably wondering where the thread had got to last Wednesday. So, Stinky got his result right to pick up 10 bonus points and moves away from danger into the top half of the table. It's safe to say that defences were not in the ascendancy at The Britannia, meaning that nobody guessed the exact scoreline there. That performance was also enough to make the reigning champion this round's top scorer, but snowman dave was not far behind on 15 points, including a rare haul of 4 three-pointers. Seph was joint third highest scorer alongside hbk4life, which was enough to close the gap at the other end of the standings to just a pair of points. Nana was outright the worst participant with just 5 points, and now looks in real trouble, particularly given that two of the strugglers around him still have their D2Ds to come. Elsewhere, the Italian games were a veritable mixed bag, but closer to home, the EPL fixtures left some clearer patterns. The outcomes in relegation battles at Sloper Road and Craven Cottage were the most likely to catch people out. In hindsight, home defeats for the Bluebirds and Fulham shouldn't have seemed so unlikely. Pretty much all of the other 6 results saw the favourites win, which most players correctly foresaw, and the exact scores were unremarkable as well, so it's even difficult to name which proved the most fruitful. Since we appear to be back on track timing-wise, let's get on with the next set of 10 straight away.
