Fog Dude
Oh my lovely Hereford, I think one of my D2D picks, however based on form and the fact they can't actually afford to pay anyone, looks like an easy result for Kiddy. Apparently the Republic of Ireland was your second choice after Cardiff, but I guess The Bulls could've been your third pick. Glenryck Pilchards
Glenryc mate, you've missed off your Boxing Day Conference scores. Thanks for spotting that! It will probably not make a jot of difference though.... Fog Dude
The final scores have been added into the original post gradually over the past few days, whilst the table has just been updated. MVP RULZ still leads, as most of the chasing pack faltered this time out. His advantage is extended to 10 points, with TildeGuy emerging as the new nearest challenger, since he was this round's top scorer with a whopping 28 out of a possible 81. There is still a clear split in the standings though. Only one person fell out of the top 10 and thus only one moved up into it, despite this being a bumper round. One of those who managed to stay in was The Ratt, even though he had a disastrous round with only a mere points. This made him the only participant not to get into double figures, and the sole player aside from last-placed Seph not to bag at least one exact score. He's now 6 points adrift at the bottom, but there was no change in the order of the bottom 4. The way Nana made his picks is fine, unless by 'in bits' he meant 'while having a nervous breakdown'. Glenryck's late guesses for the Conference games failed to yield him any extra points. It serves me right for trying to give the 4th tier its moment of glory, as the EPL ended up providing 7 matches to League Two's 5. The poor weather conditions put paid to three of today's interesting-looking fixtures. Of those that went ahead, the scoreline of 1-1 seemed to be the order of the day. Other outcomes didn't prove particularly useful for three-pointers, but home victories for Morecame, Kiddie, Chelsea, Leicester, Southend and Luton were somewhat fruitful for correct results, as were away wins for Saints, Burnley, Arsenal, Exeter and both Manchester clubs. Triumphs for Rotherham and Carlisle in the English 3rd tier, alongside a stalemate at Vicarage Road in the Championship. After that more succint write-up than usual, I'll take this opportunity once again to wish a Happy New Year to all FPL followers! I'll get on with the next thread right away.
