Typical I'd spend a few days away from a laptop, remember to buy all my christmas presents and forget to do this.

Even so, at the time you posted, you could still have bet on this week's D2D game and (in theory) earned up to 5 points. That would've been possible if Mungo had got the result wrong and the scoreline hadn't been so crazily one-sided, at least. As it was, nobody got the exact score but most participants rightly foresaw that Hearts would be quite hopeless, as only 3 of 20 others incorrectly disagreed with him, meaning he got a mere 6 extra points. That was still enough to make him top scorer for the round and the only player into double figures. Since I derided anyone who didn't back City over Spurs last time out as a fool, it's fair to mention that I was one of the few numpties who thought Celtic might fail to win at Tynecastle. Whoops.

In such a low-scoring round as this, however, even 5 points wouldn't have seen you move up a place, while zero doesn't actually make you fall any further in the table. MVP RULZ still leads, but the chasing pack has had a bit of a shuffle, so Lawz has moved up to second and is now only a point behind. Mid-table movement is normally insignificant at the best of times, but this week there really is virtually none. Special mention to Rory as he'd have been highest scorer without the bonuses taken into account, and is the sole person to manage more than one three-pointer on this occasion.

At the other end, cheetah's sunk without trace, but on the assumption he's giving up, it's the gap between hallicks and seph we should be looking at. It's down to 3 points, with the former yet to have his D2D and the latter being joint lowest scorer this week after missing the Saturday matches. The Ratt had no such excuse for scoring just a brace in this round.

As for the results - the other Scottish Cup tie was a dud even before Albion hit their last-gasp winner, as everyone expected a routine away victory. The two draws in Australasia were only slightly less surprising. Nobody got the exact score from either the six-goal thriller or the stalemate, but the Melbourne game was good for the occasional one-pointer. In the EPL, wins for Arsenal and Norwich proved most fruitful, with the narrower one at Carrow Road being especially good for three points. Nobody thought the margins at Goodison and Upton Park would end up quite so one-sided, but the score draw at White Hart Lane was somewhat useful, while at Villa Park, a handful of people went for a draw, but no-one (strangely) thought it'd be goalless.

You'll have noticed that this is already a couple of hours later than the absolute latest I generally try to get these updates posted by. Apologies for that, but I'll be getting the next set of 10 posted right away.
