Sheffbag Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Listening to Bruno on Colt Cabana's podcast and he mentions the documentary "Barbed Wire City" shot about the last days of ECW. Got a release in April and wondered if any of the forumsters had seen it or what they thought of it? http://www.barbedwirecity.com/
Stylin_and_Profilin Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I thought it was all brand new stuff but infact it's a lot of older footage from back in the day edited together with a few modern day interviews to give it a 'then and now' view on things. My only real abiding memory was how much a mess Ballz Mahoney looked now, very sad.
Paid Members JNLister Posted November 11, 2013 Paid Members Posted November 11, 2013 It's definitely worth a watch, but you have to watch it with the mindset that it's a documentary about ECW and its long-term effects, rather than a history of the promotion piece.
