This is a feud that has progressed throughout the year to the point where Great Bear management feel that the only way it will be resolved is with either Joshua Bodom or Sam Bailey leaving the company. The intense rivalry between the two started at 'Happy Birthday Great Bear' where in a three-way elimination match for the number one contendership to the Great Bear Grand Championship Bodom eliminated Bailey with a low blow, which was unseen by the referee. A planned match between the two in May was scrapped due to injury to Bailey, but the two would meet again in July.

Both men were the

to determine a shot at the Great Bear Championship later that night. Bailey won that exchange and went on to face 'Deadly' Damon Leigh later that night. Bailey seemed to have the match with Leigh, and the Great Bear Grand Championship, wrapped up but
, first by dragging the referee from the ring as he seemed to be about to count a pin which would have seen Bailey crowned Champion, but then by causing enough distraction to allow Leigh to cheat to beat Bailey.

The fallout from this saw Bailey directly confront Bodom backstage afterwards, and in a breach of his Great Bear contract, Bailey assaulted Bodom, laying the blame for his loss solely at his feet. This saw Bailey banned from competing at 'The Ballad of Oli Thomas' and both men banned from competing for the Great Bear Grand Championship for a period of 12 months.

With a years worth of history behind it this match will be incredibly personal and with the loser having to leave the company the stakes could not be higher. We urge you to be in attendance for this match on November 23rd!

Damian Dunne will make the first defence of his Jr. Heavyweight Trophy against Tyler Bate!

Dunne came out on top in the 4 way elimination match to determine the first Jr. Heavyweight Cup holder. From there the grizzled young vet travelled to Poland to represent Great Bear Promotions and is now looking to finish off what has been a good year for him by retaining his cup going into 2014.

His opponent is a young man who has highly impressed in Great Bear in 2013. Tyler Bate has shown himself to be one of the most promising wrestlers in the UK today, perhaps most notably in his victory over WxW Shotgun Champion Ilja Dragunov in September, which saw him qualify for this shot at the Jr. Heavyweight Cup.
