Snitsky's back acne Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 As it says on the tin. Â Back in the day, there were certain wrestlers I used to love watching work squash matches, such as Yokozuna, cos you knew he would literally 'squash' his opponent with a nasty banzai, or The Undertaker circa 1991/1992 cos he was cool as fuck and stuck his victim in a bodybag after the match. Â Have just been watching some Moondogs squashes from USWA in the early 1990's and they were BRUTAL, one sided beatings that made them look like real monsters. Â So, are there any wrestlers that you enjoyed watching work squash matches, and if so why?, or any squash matches that particularly stick out in your mind.
Sheffbag Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 how long before someone mention Sid Vicous vs Lee Scott or just any Sid squash match  DOH!  Used to love Mr Perfect on the old shows when he had a squash just treating the opponent with distain
PSF Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I always have a quick look back at the Nathan Jones squash matches from Smackdown. Loved watching him ragdoll Shannon Moore and the like around. Â Headshrinker squash matches were always good too.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted October 17, 2013 Paid Members Posted October 17, 2013 Following similar lines to Shaffbag, Sid Justice killing two job guys on a WWF Superstars handicap match. I'm gutted his heel run was so short, Psycho Sid was never as cool as Sid Justice in my book. Â
Big Rob Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Check this thread out - http://ukff.com/index.php?showtopic=127551...hl=%5Csquash%5C
The Reverend Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 The Powers of Pain always looked ultra stiff with jobbers.
C-Rock Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Headshrinkers matches against jobbers look brutal, I also agree with Sid's squash matches but I really dislike his powerbomb when he drops to his knees, looks less brutal compared to say Kevin Nash's Jackknife but his Wirlybird type move makes up for it. Â The Steiner Brothers had some pretty great squash matches even if it was just a chance for them to show off there throws and suplex's. Also the Legion of Doom their matches are always a fun watch. On a slight side note, I'm really surprised Scott Steiner didn't break his neck when doing the back flip fall-away slam move he'd do early on, I've never seen him do it often which I'm not surprised about it looked more painful for him than his opponent.
TheShowOff Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 The initial Sid squashes were awesome, he came across looking like a million bucks. PCO and Mountie used to kill people as well, some of that stuff looked utterly brutal in 94 and still does today.

Wrasslin Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Amr Shabana v Gregory Gaultier : ATCO PSA 2011 World Championship. Â
AshC Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 Amr Shabana v Gregory Gaultier : ATCO PSA 2011 World Championship.  This is actually quite compelling!  Anything of Amr's son Colt?
