weeman Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Hey, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place but I was just wondering if anyone has ever used these guys to buy custom belts? MD Championshipbelts www.midlandsportspro.com  If so, how was your experience with them and was the quality good?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Majik Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Also as a side note avoid Joe Marshall and Paul Bledsoe at all costs. Â And if you do happen to be contacted by Paul Bledsoe, if you'd forward me the details, it'd be most appreciated... Â Mike
chrisisfear Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 DoubleSix are great. They took my design for the GPW British Title and pretty much made a solid identical replica. Great communication throughout the process as well. Â

Dish the dirt!
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted September 22, 2013 Paid Members Posted September 22, 2013 Ordered a belt. Paid for a belt. Never received a belt. Â Didn't Corino have an issue with the same guy?
Rule One Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Ordered a belt. Paid for a belt. Never received a belt. Â Didn't Corino have an issue with the same guy? Â I'd guess so as that's Paul's MO. Some people did receive their belts but it was so few and far beyond the timescale that they should have received their belt/s. Â Steve Corino did have issues with Paul but the overall story I don't really know. Paul had issues when a cheque of Steve's bounced for a belt he was paying for but afterwards Steve had issues with Paul over something else I don't know about. Â Bounced Cheque: Â The belt business is even more carny than wrestling itself. There's plenty of sleaze to fill books.

Dish the dirt!  Never clicked I'd put Mike up there (hardly a secret - everyone knows ).  I ordered a custom belt from Paul Bledsoe on 21st January 2005 (still have the paypal receipt) all fully paid for. Excuse after excuse came, and Russ (the guy I knew who vouched for him) contacted me to say he thought Paul was going to screw everyone. He (allegedly) tried his best to get a belt out of Bledsoe but the fat waste of oxygen just fucked everyone over. I spent a few months in conversation with the DA and sheriffs department over in Louiseville (I think) trying to get charges pressed, or at least a light cornholing, but to no avail. the Da wouldn't press full charges without multiple instances, and for some reason everyone else he screwed over didn't have any balls.  The dossier I have makes funny reading, looking back, but at the time it essentially cost me MPW.  So it's not all that sleazy unfortunately - just a con man who is apparently still doing it (although there is a rumour he's now in hospital).  Majik Mike
