A very low-scoring week this one, probably due to half the matches ending with a scoreline of 0-1, and only one of the other results being a draw. Since cheetah also wrongly failed to back his own side, he got his D2D wrong, meaning there's little change in the table even at this early stage. The gap to Lawz is closed by just one point, while hallicks has just 4 points each from his 2 outings so far. Indeed, the bottom 4 is still made up entirely of newcomers, only one of whom has an exact score to their name after 3 rounds.

Then again, 21 participants failed to get a three-pointer on this occasion. Because of cheetah's unusual decision to have little confidence in the club he actually supports, everyone who went for either a home or away win scored bonus points this time out. That came to 13 people in all, even if only a minority of those scored additional 'ordinary' points for their pick. Once again however, the trend of players getting their D2D wrong and having a disaster of a round was bucked as the former champion bagged a more than respectable 7 points. Instead it was left to El Espanacas to have a complete 'mare, while at the other end of the scale, the now-established FPL regular SNRN10 shot up the standings as the only person into double figures for the round.

As for the non-D2D games, the easiest outcome to foresee was Bayern's narrow victory in Frankfurt. A win for Leverkusen by the same score at Stuttgart helped many, but the margin of Wolfsburg's triumph against Schalke (who have a Champions League play-off to worry about in midweek) was beyond everyone's best guesswork.

Closer to home, some thought Villa might get a point at The Emirates, but a reverse for Arsenal on their own patch meant the result was a dud for our points-scoring purposes. Wins for Spurs and West Ham seemed to bear the most fruit, but a scrappy loss for Sunderland didn't yield too many points, while even a win for United at The Liberty proved to be anything but obvious. Welbeck's late second meant that nobody got the exact score either.

There we go. At least I got the table up a bit earlier this week. A new set of 10 will appear on Wednesday.

West Bromwich Albion 101 Southampton w/cheetah69uk

I know West Brom didn't quite get the 101 goals I thought they would, but surely that's worth two D2D bonus points :nerd:

Nice try, but I'm 99% certain you meant 1-1 and would therefore be (wrongly) agreeing with cheetah.

Thought I'd try my luck haha! I genuinely think I went for 1-1 to start with, then made an arse of it when changing my mind and going for a 1-0 (home) win. That's what happens when I make my predictions on Thursday instead of Saturday morning!
