Kid Kash's House of Grind

Recommended Posts

We've contacted Challenge this week for comment and the claims of doing a pilot for them seem to be complete fabrication. They've never heard of this project, have zero plans to work with them and don't have any intention of showing any wrestling content outside TNA and Wrestletalk TV.

Busted.

Do you think Johnny Storm would last in one of these types of matches yet is one of the best high flyers of his time.

He probably would to be honest considering he was Hammerlock trained, and shoot training was a big part of the training there.

After 10+ years of being involved in wrestling I'd have to completely disagree with what's been said here regarding shoot training not being helpful. As well as the aforementioned conditioning (5 minutes of shoot is literally one of the toughest all over body workouts you could have), it gives a great grounding in the theory of matwork & submissions, as well as just reminding you of exactly what you're attempting to emulate, and how you'd personally react in certain situations. Look at Zack Sabre Jr for a perfect example of how shoot training can inform your approach to wrestling.
