Â I thought this was a really good show. The tag match, the skits, AJ'S opening promo and Orton vs Corbin was all very enjoyable. The only slight downside was the hokeyness of the Orton beatdown. Â Is there any way Wyatt's walks out of Wrestlemania still champ? Orton really doesn't need it and even as champion would be second to Cena on the roster. Didn't have a clue what the "Total Bellas Bull shit" skits were mocking really but Miz was funny as Cena. Â Tag Title match was really good but the title change felt really predictable. Dunno why. Another switch on SD. Â AJ/Shane stuff we've seen in every feud Shane has ever had. Felt big time though. Â Enjoyed the SRW references but there's no subtlety in WWE. Â Worst stuff on this show was the talking. AJ was boring as fuck. Wyatt was boring. Fandango was boring. Shane was boring. Just get on wi' it. Really tease the Alpha chase too. I was even made a believer of Shane V AJ which I didn't care about before. Didn't have a clue what the "Total Bellas Bull shit" skits were mocking really but Miz was funny as Cena.  All the jokes last night about Cena not proposing to Nikki have come from the early days of Total Divas when Nikki didn't know whether to settle down with him knowing that he said from the start he will never marry her.  The payoff has been rumoured for months, since last year I believe, to be Cena proposing in the ring after they beat Miz & Maryse.  All silly reality-TV bollocks of course, but I'm just happy Cena will be doing something different this year to his usual singles match. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know he needs a place to land to cushion his landing but a few extra inches and he would have connected much better and made it look more believable IMO. The way Miz was stood, roll of carpet under each arm bodybuilder stance, that dumb look on his face, absolutely tremendous stuff. Make this a parody show and stick it on the Network, it's funnier than story time or E+C or any of that bollocks. Miz is so talented. Â I hated the AJ/Shane stuff, I really don't want to sound like some Reddit cunt, but I just can't stick this shit, Shane has the worst offence in the history of WWE, and seeing AJ have to sell for him sickens me. I get it, just being in the ring with a McMahon brings prestige, in Vince's mind he is rewarding AJ for the year he has had, but I'm sorry it's absolutely laughable. Then we get that stupid elbow drop on the table again, with JBL acting like he has never seen it before, even though Shane does it in every single match he has. Cat crater Posted March 22, 2017 Share Posted March 22, 2017 I must be the only one but I'd much rather see AJ in a well built feud culminating in a match with Shane at Mania than see him thrown into a match with Nakamura or Samoa Joe or Bobby Roode or Kenny Omega or whoever the fuck else it is who people seem to want AJ facing. Â AJ can and will have great matches all year round but I actually think that having a great match is less important at Mania.
