Mr Kennedy
When did Lana lose her accent? Rusev hasn’t half done well for himself though, Lana is a prime piece of minge.

I'm really digging the Street Profits but it was almost like a reverse rinse and repeat from last week, I'm guessing no Owens as he won't be doing the Saudi show so no point having him take up screen time? Rollins vs Rowan confused me by the ending, when Mankind did it years before with the Rock it was because he was a bit crazy and out there but it never seemed a heel move to trap him. Rollins screaming at everyone and then acting like some genius conquerer but yeah their booking of him is what it is. Asuka needs to aim better with the mist. That's twice now she's over shot it and then had to bring it down to even make some contact. What particularly annoyed me about the ending is that he had Rowan dead to rights. He just stomped him on concrete. Why didn't he just pin him? It's not like he was going to get up from that.

The Fiend got up from approximately 1,500,987 stomps so you can see why he may have been a little concerned.

Paid Members Statto Posted October 31, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2019 It's only a year or two since they last did the "squashed by a forklift" thing. Pretty sure it was with Corbin & Ambrose, although I don't recall who squashed who. What I do recall, though, was that whoever did it just turned on the forklift & dropped the tines onto their victim. They didn't have to run around trying to find an adult to help them do it. Seth Rollins. NOT. COOL.
Paid Members Supremo Posted October 31, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2019 Luckily, Seth’s got his head screwed on and is doing his best to get the fans back on his side...
Paid Members mim731 Posted October 31, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2019 The stupid thing is that they could absolutely have Rollins as an obnoxious heel, just playing this same character (essentially being himself). No need for the over-the-top Scooby-Doo villian laughs or anything. Change nothing about him, but put him in the heel role because as a babyface, he's fucked.
King Pitcos
The problem with a Rollins heel turn is - who then replaces him as Raw’s top babyface and doesn’t end up in the same position as this? We’re fifteen years into turning against whoever the top babyface is. Rollins was the best bet for being a top babyface who retains their internet points. Worked the indies, does flips and dives, lost a match to Cena once, was booked in Roman’s shadow. If even he can’t go six months as top guy without being turned against, who can? Edit: CM Punk probably could manage it actually, although there might be a fairly short shelf life on that if he was back on a big money part time contract. Edited October 31, 2019 by King Pitcos
The Gaffer
To be fair, Rollins committed the cardinal sin of shitting the bed on the internet, which - when coupled with his lack of dynamic promo nous - gave dem plenty of reason to turn on him. There's surely a way of handling these guys so that fans don't eventually give you the sort of reactions that prompt the production desk to do crowd mic fades on your big WrestleMania entrance, even when those fans are just dying to be pricks about the whole deal. Seth was over for ages and ages until his gimmick of I Wrestle Loads On Raw eventually caught up with him. Then the tweets. Then the complete lack of friction or danger to his face character in the modern TV production environment. All you're left with is some dweeb type feller who tells everyone he doesn't do beers before the punk rawk gig because it'll muddy his sense of honour and integrity. Roman's a weirder one. He went from being an apparent superman to actually jobbing out cancer, and now I couldn't tell you if he's been on the shows or not on any given week. I say there's surely a way, but I'm too cynical to think they'll ever get there now, to be honest. The way is literally just about 80% less content and vastly better booking. Guys are apparently shoved down our throats, but they've never meant less. And for all the good we can hope they do with the booking, they're not about to scale back on the 24/7 wash of media content they produce.
Ricc1PW
It's almost as if they want him to look stupid. he looked like a right tool desperately trying to find someone to operate the forklift for him. Even bloody Mankind did it himself, and as noted above, as did Ambrose or Corbin.
Paid Members BomberPat Posted October 31, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2019 It would all have been worth it if that Rowan lookalike from a couple of months back was driving the forklift.

This is the right time to do it if you're going to. They've got 6 months til Mania when they'd need to pay this off. Turn Seth now and go down one of two routes. Route A, which only has one pay-off I see, is that Seth forms an alliance with a fellow heel and slowly over the next few months, that heel starts to see himself being used until he eventually snaps and opposes Rollins. Like the Wyatt/Orton stuff but with an actual pay-off. I can only see this being AJ Styles who'd eventually get a kick-in from Rollins, Anderson and Gallows to complete his turn. Fans would be into that but he's not the fresh new name really. The other route is a traditional heel turn, probably with Seth surrounding himself with some twats to form a stable and having them kick the shit out of a few babyfaces to give you a bunch of big tag matches to fill Raw week to week. This opens up a load of possibles. A few outsiders are Joe, who probably doesn't have the look but has the promos, Rusev, who probably isn't the gy given his current storyline is death, and Aleister Black who I'm still not quite sure is going to be a babyface. The obvious picks are Ricochet and Kevin Owens. Ric doesn't have the promos but is likeable, flashy and small. People would get behind him. He could do the coast to coast Rumble thing that they haven't done for ages now. If Owens wasn't coming off that rushed double turn and then bloody awful programme with Shane, he'd be easily my top pick. He's got a bit of everything. Fans love him. He's got the promos. People buy him. He's got the backstory. He doesn't have the momentum which you'd have to build. Hidden third option is trade Big E. Hidden fourth option is ring Goldberg. Paid Members Supremo Posted October 31, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted October 31, 2019 All great options, Rick. They’d never ever do it, and he seems so injury prone these days that they’re probably right not to, but right now Samoa Joe is the man they need. Crowd love him, great matches, comes across as a genuine hard case, seems to have a proper wit and ability to carry himself like a star on social media and in interviews and - most importantly of all - has an incredible ability to deliver their garbage scripting in a way that doesn’t make him look like a twat. They gave him a fucking bedtime story segment and the lad still nailed it. It’s easy to forget but before they sacrificed him for The Plan~! a few years ago, Joe was quickly becoming a sure fire star and someone you could completely buy as Lesnar’s equal. He’s fucking great. That’s my biggest thing with all this. I hate this idea that if you give the ball to someone it’s just a given that the crowd will turn on them because they hate Vince or whatever. Bollocks. People didn’t turn on Seth simply because he had the belt. They turned on him because he was a bell-end on Twitter, he was scripted to look a bell-end on TV and him and Becky had anti-chemistry together. The top spot is an uphill battle because of how bad they are at scripting and protecting babyfaces but Seth not only proved he couldn’t overcome it, he made things ten times worse by trying to defend it!
