Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted August 7, 2013 Author Paid Members Share Posted August 7, 2013 Are there any decent documentaries out there about hardcore Star Wars fans? I'm thinking like, in the vein of "Trekkies".  I can't think of one. The closest would probably be The People Versus George Lucas. I think it's on US Netflix.
Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted August 7, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2013 I saw that on there. I was on the fence as to whether it looked interesting to me or not. Have you seen it? Would you recommend it?
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted August 7, 2013 Author Paid Members Share Posted August 7, 2013 I haven't actually, but I have been watching the original three Star Wars films this week and was planning on watching it after those. I'll let you know if it's any good but it seems to have generally been well received.
Paid Members Maverick Posted August 12, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted August 12, 2013 As a huge Western fan I really expected The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford to be good, despite a great performance from Casey Affleck I thought it was rubbish and went on for ever, modern Westerns don't capture what I love about the Western at all anymore, we must nearly be due another Wyatt Earp movie. Paid Members Nick Soapdish Posted August 12, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted August 12, 2013 The Dark Knight / Dark Knight Rises. Just do nothing for me. Ledger is a good Joker, otherwise they are poor. more (plot) holes then in a pack of Polo's. And I like Some of Nolan's films, but those two suck. Â Inception on repeat watching also does not hold up
