CracktonMoj Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I really enjoyed the one Progress show I saw (chapter 3). You can get them as direct downloads for not much money, they're terrific.
Paid Members Up Chuck Posted July 7, 2013 Paid Members Posted July 7, 2013 Isn't Benny HG's UK50 coming up soon? People should throw in some links to their nominees' matches if there are any online, be a nice addition to the usual great writeups.
GPW Kristian Zane Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 GPW's Crazy Cruiser 8 2009 Final Part 1 Part 2 Part3Â Â Â Â Â Jack Gallagher vs Zack Gibson-First time
Forrest Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 UK Undertaker vs. The Dudley - Steel Cage Match was a cracker.
AshC Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Was wondering what Brit-Wres you guys have enjoyed lately? Â Might be worth sticking a rule in here that you can only mention stuff you're not affiliated with. Â To that extent, I thought the Jonny Storm vs Stixx match on this year's Dragongate weekender was very fun.
rohpete Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 The Lionheart vs Kris Travis Trilogy of matches from Preston city wrestling were all great   Pac v trav from last years speed king was top notch too   Doug Williams and Benham Ali vs Owen Phoenix and Eddie Ryan
cobystag Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I'd personally rate Revolution Pro Wrestling based in Kent, Southside Wrestling Entertainment based in Cambridgeshire/Nottingham and Preston City Wrestling based in...... Duh, as the top three promotions currently active in England today. There's not really that much of RevPro on youtube but I would really recommend their Christmas Cracker 2012 DVD which featured my UK MOTY pick, Project Ego vs The LDR's as well as Devitt vs Haskins vs Dar vs Ligero, Michael Elgin vs Big Van Walter and The Hunters vs The London Riots. Â SWE and PCW have plenty of stuff on youtube. SWE's August event in Nottingham, Supremacy, was probably my favourite UK show of 2012 and there are two matches on youtube from that show: Â The LDR's vs MK McKinnan & Jonathan Gresham - The Zack/MK sections are glorious and I would fully recommend you check out their trilogy of matches from this year contained in RevPro (No Holds Barred and Road To Thunder) and SWE (Speed King). Â Davey Richards vs Noam Dar - There's a reason why Noam Dar is considered one of the best in the UK and it's matches like these. And also just put online yesterday, Dar's match from last year against AJ Styles from Scottish promotion, Pro Wrestling Elite - Â SWE's inaugural Speed King from last years final was also recently put on youtube and well worth watching for those last 5-10 minutes between the last two competitors out of the elimination six-way - Â Dave Mastiff vs Sami Callihan - You can see why Dave is considered the best heavyweight in England active today and he's against a top American indy star who has a bright future in the WWE as he's only just reported to Florida. Â PCW have the absolute best quality footage available in England today. Watch the links below in 1080 HD for the full benefits. Â El Ligero vs Akira Tozawa - My absolute favourite singles match from last year. Ligero has won the UKFF50 two years running and the reason why is matches like these against some of the best talent in the world, as well as his versatility in that he can fill any spot on the card and do exactly what is required of him regardless of the style of promotion and his opponents. Â Martin Kirby vs Dean Allmark vs BT Gunn vs CJ Banks vs Sam Bailey vs Davey Rayne - Six-way MITB one fall finish. Â Any match involving Zack Sabre Jnr, Noam Dar, Mark Haskins, Marty Scurll, El Ligero, MK McKinnan, Martin Kirby, Kris Travis, Dave Mastiff, etc are well worth investigating.
The Cum Doctor Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 ICW's YouTube has an absolute TON of stuff on it.  http://www.youtube.com/icwonline  Loads of full matches, shows and all sorts of good stuff.
ninevisions Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 GPW's Battlefield II Main event  Dirk Feelgood vs. Cyanide vs. Jack Gallagher vs. Martin Kirby  without a doubt the best match they've ever put on and in my eyes the match of the year (2012)
Mr Butternut Squash Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I think it's episode 10 of ICW Worldwide in that link up above that has the excellent Robbie Dynamite vs Mikey Whiplash match on it. Lovely wrestling and a great story.
