Paid Members PunkStep Posted July 10, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted July 10, 2018 I'm sure I found that on YouTube a year or so ago. Wasn't it pretty old? I'm talking pre-Revival and the first Uprising, and they were still running mostly around the Fratton area? It was good to watch after all these years. Yes I was in it and negotiated with the filmmaker to make it happen. I have it on my YouTube as a hidden video. Let me check to see if it's still there and will post the link. For us we wanted to stand out and use it to introduce us to a new audience. The scene (I think in the restaurant) where we discuss "ring rats" got us a lot of heat with the traditional U.K. wrestling companies and wrestlers. At the time it was not the done thing. We became the upstart of the U.K. wrestling scene for doing this documentary. But for the audience of fans we wanted it got us noticed. In some ways it was this film that helped us sow the seeds of the old school vs new school invasion story later on. Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted July 11, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted July 11, 2018 I do remember Conners in the crowd at FWA events around 2003-2005-ish. I also remember him taking tickets on the door at IPW:UK events in Orpington after that. It's fascinating seeing who was in those FWA crowds back then. Paid Members Linus Posted July 11, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted July 11, 2018 The early FWA - and Revival - are pretty much the Sex Pistols at Free Trade Hall of BritWres.

Paid Members John Matrix Posted July 11, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted July 11, 2018 My biggest takeaway from this. How much money could FWA have made if they’d held on to the England.com domain!

It was one of those companies that created free email addresses with fancy domains which was a popular thing we did back in the 1990s.
