At 5th Anniversary on Saturday 6th July, the new NGW Championship will be defended as two of the most exciting performers in the country today go one on one for the NGW Championship. Mark Haskins defends against El Ligero.

As NGW looked to name a new champion in the 30 man rumble at Destiny back in March, these two were the final two competitors. It took The Proven's 'Strike 1' to distract Ligero as they viciously attacked his tag team partner and best friend Dara Diablo.

If that hadn't happened, we could very easily be looking at El Ligero carrying the NGW Championship right now. That is why El Ligero has been granted a singles match against Mark Haskins.

As our mega successful debut in Keighley came to an end and Haskins successfully defended his NGW Championship for the first time against Kris Travis, Haskins decided he was going to make a statement in front of the packed crowd and was setting up to annihilate Kris Travis with a piledriver. It was El Ligero who came out to make sure that didn't happen and spoiling Haskins' first official night as NGW Champion.

These two are outstanding performers and this is a match you really wouldn't want to miss. Front row already sold out. Don't be turned away at the door like some disappointed customers last time at the Eastmount. Get your tickets NOW: http://www.ngwuk.com/shop/event-tickets

NGW debuted in 2008 with the show Genesis. Since then quite a lot has changed but anyone who knows NGW will know that we're very proud of our history and our progress since that time. While been generally populated with local and less experienced talent, Genesis was headlined by two talented guys making a name for themselves on the British circuit. 5 years on and these two are EVEN better and two of the best big men in the country without a doubt. We remember our past as we celebrate 5 years when Stixx takes on Dave Mastiff in the first rematch in NGW since the original bout five years ago. This is going to be incredibly hard hitting!Get your tickets and don't miss a bit of NGW history: http://www.ngwuk.com/shop/event-tickets

'Showstealer' Nathan Cruz & Matt Myers were a massive part of putting NGW on the map as the former childhood best friends battled in a huge rivalry throughout NGW's 2nd year. They rekindled their long time rivalry when Nathan Cruz was a successful NGW Champion and claimed he

Saturday 6th July we celebrate a fantastic 5 years history. But as tradition has shown, we also like to look forward to the next 5 years and the future of New Generation Wrestling.

That's why at 5th Anniversary will feature a 'Newcomers match'. The winner will receive a contract to become an NGW regular alongside the likes of Mark Haskins, El Ligero, Stixx, Nathan Cruz and Sam Bailey. This is open to anybody who is not under NGW contract.

We've already had many requests to be part of this match. We're scouring the country for the very best to put into this match. Is there anyone you'd like to see get the opportunity in this match? Maybe someone you've seen in a minor role in NGW, perhaps you've seen in other places in the country or maybe you've seen some of the NGW Proving Ground stars step it up in 2013. Do let us know!

Stixx bt Dave Mastiff

Caz Crash bt Dara Diablo

Matt Myers & Nathan Cruz went to a no contest after The Proven (Caz Crash, Sam Wilder & Scott Adams) interfered, handcuffed Myers to ringside and viciously beat Nathan Cruz. Caz Crash then introduced the former recognised NGW Champion - Rampage Brown who continued the vicious assault on Cruz with two massive piledrivers and hooked in the crossface until he passed out. Cruz was rushed to hospital and the injuries suffered are serious and his NGW career is in doubt.

Ryu Kilik bt Paul Ryker to win an NGW contract following interference from Stixx.

Team GB bt Colossus Kennedy in a handicap match.

Mark Haskins bt El Ligero to retain the NGW Championship. As the ref was down this brought out former recognised NGW Champion Rampage Brown leaving both competitors and the fans confused. After a quick grin, Rampage attacked Ligero and was joined by his new allies The Proven. After bringing the ref round, Haskins successfully pinned Ligero to retain.

The Proven then grabbed NGW founder and chairman Luke Ingamells and fed him to Rampage who hit the founder with a massive Samoan Drop. Caz Crash told everyone that tonight they saw strike 2 & 3 meaning NGW are officially on notice and on September 7th at Revelations the annoymous general manager will finally reveal himself. The newly formed group grabbed a piece of the set with the NGW logo and viciously threw Ligero through it. Rampage & Haskins stood tall with their individual belts with Caz Crash and The Proven destroying the NGW logo. The 5 outlaws made their way out through the crowd hastily when Stixx & Dara Diablo ran out.

NGW attempted to celebrate 5 years but the celebrations were stolen away. What was supposed to be the happiest night of NGW history turned into a nightmare for those involved with the company. NGW has never looked so vulnerable.

Why the war on NGW? Maybe we'll find out on September 7th at Revelations as we find out who the general manager is...
