My favourite part of the entire show was Hogan calling the A&8 team 'three pussies in leather'. I popped huge for that, laughed my tits off.I love Jeff Hardy too. He's got such an aura about him and his theme tune is bad ass. Good to see him back, for me he's still one of the top babyfaces in the business. I wish he was back in WWE, I'd care much more about him then. Most of the undercard matches were of a good standard and I was glad there were a few title changes, but as Ian said, the main event left me feeling deflated and as a result I ended up feeling pretty negative about the show. TNA just don't know how to send them home happy do they? I don't even mind so much that Sting didn't win the title, but there have got to be better ways to end a PPV than having yet another A&8 group attack.AJ Styles can't pull off this lone wolf character they're going for. It's a shame, because I quite like the angle and I'm usually well into loner anti-hero types. Just wish they had someone more convincing in the role.

I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but surely that comment deserves at least a 24hr ban??? ;)

I don't watch TNA much, but did whilst pre-drinking last night. I enjoyed the card overall. But I just wanted to take this moment to brag. I remember when Gail Kim went to TNA, I was one of the only (or perhaps the only) people to defend her. Loads of people said she was shit, like a lot on here had said Daniel Bryan was shit when he was playing the geek character and I defended him. I realise it's not groundbreaking as they were likely defended elsewhere, just not here.- With that out of the way, I hadn't followed the storylines going into it closely but I dreaded the idea of Sting winning the title again. He needs to step down from main eventing. He's looking older; he has his t-shirt, his naff hair and the video packages showed just how often he's main evented. He's a big name, but they can survive without him in the main event now and it's the right time for that to happen.- Really not a fan of AJ's character. It took me out of the match as I was focussing on his naff hair (what is it with me and hair?) and attire. The chsracter just isn't suited to him. Why do they always fanny around changing him? He's fine as a face, he's fine being the guy to do all the highflying shit and he should be someone who never turns heel in the company.- I'm a fan of Gunner. Good look and good finish in the Torture Rack as it seems to compliment his character. I don't think he looked out of his depth. I was ok with him getting the win.- My mate told me Magnus is being introduced in some more high profile matches at times now like Team TNA vs. Aces and Eights. If they graduslly do that, the crowd will accept him as being at that level. They don't want to fuck up with him. They place importance in the UK and having a British world champion at a time when WWE doesn't look like it'll have one any time soon would be great for them. But it's not just for thr sake of him being English too; he's young, handsome, improved in the ring and has a good physique. He weren't bad on the mic when I saw him either.- Jay Bradley did alright too. I liked how he took his time, moved like a big man and fell like a big man. His promo afterwards was decent enough too. No hope for Sam Shaw.- I laughed at Angle saying he was going to "make [his children's] daddy proud".- Bobby Roode will surely go back into the main event within the next 12 months. He's a credible main eventer.- How much energy does Austin Aries have? And Daniels and Kaz were very funny. Love Daniels' dance to the ring. Another guy people on here slated. He'd shown he was capable of good matches and was a good promo. He's excelled himself now however. Have you noticed the trend of 'workrate' wrestlers being slated whilst bigger wrestlers are more likely to be praised?

Nope. Also, what is workrate really?

I don't tend to use the term, hence the inverted commas. But I'd be surprised if you didn't know what type of wrestler I was getting at with thatterm. Wrestlers who do more physically are likely said to have a good 'workrate' as you can see them bouncing around, doing more intricate moves and reversals (someone like Austin Aries). I realise it's about working smarter, not harder.

Ok, now have a think think about why people haven't slated Daniels on here in ages. It's because he's not fucking dull as dishwater anymore and involved with AJ Styles forever and ever. Nothing to do with the wonderful minds of the Pro Wrestling forum on the UKFF being wrong at any point, he just stopped being shit at some point.

I conceded that he seems better now than ever. He, and the other guys in the match, blew me away at last year's Slammiversary and he's genuinely funny. But it wasn't like he was devoid of personality before. He could talk and he could wrestle. The Fallen Angel gimmick wasn't half as good as what he's doing now, but it wasn't awful. I wouldn't say his wrestling style has changed much, yet that was a gripe of many. Few would argue that he's been having shit matches though. To summarise, there is such a thing as a middle ground. It's not that they're either shit or brilliant. Daniels wasn't shit. He was relied on in the early days of TNA to have decent matches and project what the X Division was about. He did that. Him facing AJ Styles a hundred times isn't his fault either. He had more personality than most in the X Division in fact and I'd say he was integral to it.On a side note, he's another one who amazes me in that he, like Angle, is mid forties and still able to go at a frantic pace.

His matches used to be awful and resemble awful ballet. If looked toospft and like over-choreographed rubbish. He was poor. And he wasn't a good talker either, several TNA pushes proved that and were probably a reason why said pushes came to an end. He really, really was devoid of personality. I don't care if fucking EWR gave him 80 for Charisma, he really wasn't charismatic. Watch his awful work in his feud with sting when he started drawing on his face. And in the early days of the X-Division more onus was probably put on Amazing fucking Red with Don West going made as the example of what the whole no limits stuff was all about. Also, The Fallen Angel gimmick was terrible. Indyriffic "dark" and pointless when there was already a shitload of people doing a similar gimmick in the same promotion as the Disciples of the New Church. He's solid and a fun watch now, but he used to be a real fucking chore.

Check out Sphinxy, he was bumming Daniel Bryan all the way back in 2010, some five or so six years after the rest of the internet were referring to him as the 'Best In The World' This man knows his shit.

Haha! The man's ahead of the curve. Did Daniel Bryan ever really get that much of a mauling on here anyway? I always remember him being a uniting influence.

I think when he first started in WWE there was alot of concern on here that he was just far too small, I think a few people were fairly bored by his face run up until he cashed in his MITB and turned heel aswell.

I've liked Daniel Bryan for years. I liked him when he was wearing a shit mask on an FWA show and the UKFF FWA Forum was in tears over not seeing his lovely pastey face. This forum has a hilarious perception. On here people tend to like what they like. I've always had a slanted view on Japanese wrestling, but air_raid's a big fan and he's one of the more popular forum members on here. Cobystag's all about indy and British Wrestling, and he's great to read. Hat Guy is someone we all want to see write a book on British Wrestling. A form of wrestling a lot of us dont even. Vamp's the man, and he's into Lucha. John Lister is on the forum. A well respected journalist who knows his stuff and nobody is like "you're fucking wrong there, dick!!!" Whether its old Memphis, cartoon era WWF, Ring of Honor, Chikara, fat Kevin Steen, Daniels and Kaz, Incredibly Strange Wrestling, current WWE, TNA, WCW, World of Sport, you get a good variety of people on here who like what they like and can have their arm twisted into liking something else. ShortOrderCooks just made a fucking thread asking for 100 matches and the silly sod is going to watch the fucking lot of them to find something new to get into. It tends to be the people who like something passionately (whatever it is) that makes the best posters on here. I have no idea where all this "you didn't like him before and that makes me right!!!" shite comes from. Christopher Daniels is hilarious since he's stopped caring about becoming a super straight character. He said as much on F4Wonline months ago. For years he took himself way to serious. In 2013, he's stopped giving a toss about being indy wank and started having a laugh. The same can be said about Batista, someone completely on the opposite end. If this Christopher Daniels was around in 2001, he'd have been snapped up by the WWF. No question about it. Vanilla as fuck was consistent among ex WWE writers when they mentioned him.

I don't think anyone on here has a problem with guys who work hard. I think there's just more love on here for wrestlers who have a character and work hard to sustain it. Daniels is a good example of somebody who didn't really have much of a well rounded character, he was the Fallen Angel but beyond that it was difficult to work out what the heck he was. He was a bald skinny guy who came down to the ring in robes, took them off and then did moonsaults. I watch lucha, there's a lot of guys who do flips and submissions and are pretty good at it, but most of the wrestlers that I give a real damn about are the ones who have a character. There's people on here who have watched wrestling for yonks and yonks, they've seen all the moves and counters, and then you get to that stage where once again what really draws you in isn't the suplex or dive but the character. The moves don't matter so much because they're the first time you're seeing them, you've seen them all before, they matter because of the character doing them. I wanked over the Park vs. Wagner match on here which included a moment where Park powebombed Wagner onto a set of chairs. I'm sure I've seen that before. But this was Park powerbombing Wagner onto a set of chairs. That was what mattered. Too often people seperate the character from this mythical workrate. A character is part of the work.
