In a bit of a turnaround after last week, the gap at the top of the table is surprisingly once again larger than the one at the bottom. Worth carrying on for another couple of weeks then. The full round-up and next set of 10 will probably appear sometime later than usual on Wednesday, since all the matches on the following card will be Sunday fixtures.

A clutch of participants share the shame of being joint lowest scorers this week, but not far in front of them on 4 points was stunstone, which gave ultimo a chance to reduce the deficit at the summit to just 8 points. His haul of a dozen wasn't quite enough to take highest scorer honours though, because TildeGuy and SNRN10 were equal best this time out. The latter moved up a place and left niff further adrift at the wrong end, with not many points left to play for.

Nobody got the exact score for the Cup final, but a special mention must go to El Espanacas for at least foreseeing the right result. West Brom's second-half collapse at Carrow Road also meant an unguessable scoreline, but the other 4 outcomes in the English top flight all proved quite fruitful really. A victory for Marseille to put pressure on PSG was widely expected, but the following night Beckham's boys (all right, Ibra's lads if we're being honest) surprisingly didn't choke at third-placed Lyon and thus won their first French title since 1994.

Elsewhere on the continent, Barcelona's comeback and triumph at the Vicente Calder
