Moderators PowerButchi Posted May 3, 2013 Moderators Share Posted May 3, 2013 Personally, I have. And not for anything good. Instead for falling over outside a pub I've never been in on Britain's Toughest Pubs when they were in Wrexham. They edited it to look like I've drank there, but I haven't. So my 15 minutes were falling over, trying to get up, then realise I couldn't be arsed while the cunt off Royle Family ripped the piss out of me spliced with footage of a load of old blokes in drag in this very shitty pub. Â So, have you ever been on the telly? Preferably making a cock of yourself.

Paid Members JohnnyChimpo Posted May 3, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 3, 2013 I have a habit of getting on the telly whenever I go to a Man United match. I was famous for 15 minutes in 2011 during the 1-6 hammering City dished out to us at Old Trafford. When the third goal went in, Sky had a shot of just my mug for 3-4 seconds looking depressed and totally bewildered. Mates from Australia were texting me to say I was on the telly. Phone was going crazy. Then after the match, Sky cant show highlights until after match of the day, so Sky Sports news where showing shots of the crowd/players celebrating after the final whistle on the hour ever hour and my face was included in all their little broadcasts. Then a fresh wave of texts came through during that nights match of the day 2. Â I was interviewed by ITV outside Old Trafford once, a few days before the Liverpool v United game at Anfield this season. They were asking me about potential "victim chants" at the game, with that week being were the truth came out about Hillsborough. Â I was on Channel 5 with a bunch of other United fans outside the Amsterdam Arena during the build up to the Ajax match in the Europa League last season. We were all jumping up and down, waving a giant United banner signing; Thursday Night, in Amsterdam, Thursday Night, in Amsterdam. Â Been interviewed by MUTV outside the ground on a few occasion before matches too.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 3, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 3, 2013 I was on the news in 1997 for winning a Sunderland shirt when Roker Park came crashing down. We were on a school trip and I was picked out of a line as the last person to be a visitor of Roker Park or some shit. I didn't really pay attention. I was happy I got the free shirt. Some old dear presented by the shirt and I shook his hands, did the "new
freaky
I was in the audience of Trisha back in 1998. We were hoping for some idiots arguing about being cheated on or something - instead, we got a serious discussion about transsexuals.
Paid Members martyngnr Posted May 3, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 3, 2013 I was shown in the crowd at a British wrestling show in 1990 from Aberdeen's Beach Leisure Centre during a Giant Haystacks vs Jamaica George match. I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Paid Members Thunderplex Posted May 3, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 3, 2013 When the Swapshop Roadshow was ay wythenshawe park many years ago, I was in front row of the crowd behind Cheggers, flicking the V's at him. Didn't realise my mum was watching at home, so returned to the tongue-lashing of my life.
Dirty Eddie
In around 1997 I was on Saturday morning telly. Not sure of the name now, but it was ITV and hosted by Denise Van Outen. They used people at my school to film a "5 reasons to get out of a date" sketch thing and I got to turn down a hot classmate with the old "sorry love, I'm washing my hair" line.
