theoriginalpinhead Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 British Wrestling's biggest London one night knockout tournament for more than 25 years will be taking place at Croydon's Fairfield Halls on Friday 17th May when the country's and the South London's venues longest running Promoters will be holding a competition to find the overall winner of the five month series of King of the Rumble events that have been held up and down the country. Â Each of the winners from towns as far apart as Bournemouth on the South coast to New Brighton up on Merseyside to Ipswich on the east coast to Gravesend, Folkestone, and Tunbridge Wells in Kent, Hanley in the Midlands to Aldershot, and Hayes, Bedworth and many more will be competing in a first round with the winners having a short break before moving forward to each round until the semi-finals and then the grand final all on one night, with the winner being declared King of the Rumble 2013 and will receive a special new trophy and cup which will be competed for annually. Â Not since the days of the Royal Albert Hall's annual Heavyweight tournament will so many British wrestlers being taken part in a London wrestling ring, to find one overall winner. Â We Shall be announcing the 8 wrestlers who have qualified over the next few weeks. Â Plus top of the bill will be an Canadian style Lumberjack match where up to 20 wrestlers will be surrounding the ring so there is no escape as two former Tag Team friends bid to end their dispute following their victory at the last big All Star bill as American heartrob Sam Adonis aims to silence former Superslam Champion Rampage Brown once and for all.
