Damn! forgot all about this

Wouldn't worry about it too much. I did post in time for friday but I'm still sitting on zero points!

I'm not doing much better. I appear to be in Jinx mode right now.

So here it is. Looks like stunstone could've wrapped things up already. Full round-up coming later, then a normal set of 10 tomorrow with all the D2Ds done and dusted. New thread might have to come with a poll deciding when the final round should be, as last season.

You've said that before. Twice! ;) I'm taking nothing for granted!

To the final D2D of the campaign first of all then. When Bolton went 2-0 up at the Valley on Saturday, it looked like a lot of people were set for bonus points. As it turned out, Charlton came back to win 3-2 and so 15 of the 19 other participants gave away bonuses to the snowman. That did his points total the power of good, but without those extra points the joint top scorers would've been SNRN10 and ultimo. The former moves away from wooden spoon danger, while the latter takes full advantage of the double round to move back into second place above Rory.

However, stunstone also made the most of it to increase the gap at the top to a whopping 11 points in a week where he needed to have a stinker while his rivals flourished, if things were to be made interesting. Among the chasing pack, The Ratt managed to miss Friday's matches, but still scored one point more than Del, who got all his picks in on time. At the other end, niff made it into double figures but the deficit to second-bottom MVP RULZ stands at nine points.

Home victories for City and Aberdeen on Saturday and Chelsea, Bournemouth and Walsall on Easter Monday proved the most fruitful results, although the margin of victory in the last of those just about caught everyone out. Four matches in the fourth tier finished in draws, which were also mostly useful for at least one-pointers, while the away win for Wycombe was a tad tougher to foresee.

Draws at Ewood Park and the Gate - where a late equaliser was not much use in the fight against relegation - weren't as hard to guess as the aforementioned D2D fixture in the same division. Wolves' potentially crucial win in the West Midlands derby at St Andrews, also in the Championship, wasn't so good, and nor were the tied games at The New Lawn and St Mirren Park.

Carlisle's failure to win at home to Shrewsbury took many by surprise, as did rare home reverses for Tranmere and Swansea, although in each case the quality of opposition (Sheffield United and Spurs respectively) offers something in the way of explanation.
