PBW are pleased to to announce that we will be bringing our annual Breaking Limits show to the Greenock Town Hall this May when we present Breaking Limits 8 live on Saturday 4th May. Just 2 weeks ago we presented a huge weekend of wrestling in Scotland when we had over 450 fans in attendance for our Airdrie return and then over 800 fans in attendance the very next day for our annual spring show at the Pavilion Theatre. This May we are determined to sell out the Greenock Town Hall and have some huge matches planned for the event.

Last Saturday at our live event in Barrhead, PBW Champion Liam Thomson defended his title in convincing fashion against Scottish star Wolfgang. After the match Thomson took to the mic to address the fans in attendance. Thomson claimed that he didnt want to wait for Mark Haskins to be announced in some UK dream match at Breaking Limits 8. Thomson stated that he was the best in Scotland and wanted to take on the very best in the UK before offering Haskins a PBW title shot at Breaking Limits 8.

We can now confirm that PBW management have signed the match and Liam Thomson will now defend his title against Mark Haskins at Breaking Limits 8 in the Greenock Town Hall on Saturday 4th May 2013.

Thomson wanted the best, well International star Mark Haskins has completed 3 tours with the highly acclaimed Japanese promotion Dragon Gate and also spend a considerable amount of time under contract to American giants TNA, add to that a host of appearance across Europe aswell as a regular spot on the Dragon Gate UK shows and Thomson by far is facing his toughest challenge yet.

Breaking Limits 8 is shaping up to be our strongest PBW card in years and with this huge main event plus Scottish sensation Grado set to take on Irish funnyman Mad Man Manson tickets are already selling very well.

Breaking Limits 8 is now just over one week away and with some huge matches already announced we can now proudly announce that we have confirmed 3 of Europe's premier talents to compete in a massive 3 way match.

International star Tommy End will fly in from Holland to make his Scottish Wrestling debut with a hugely impressive CV in place. Aswell as having wrestled throughout Europe and being a regular for the well respected German based WXW, End has also competed in multiple tours of Japan for Big Japan Wrestling. End has also made some huge noise this year in two of the most respected tournaments in the world. He won Europe's biggest tournament when he lifted the 16 carat trophy in WXW beating English standout Zack Sabre Jr in a thrilling final. He also reached the semi final of the annual CZW Best Of The Best tournament and won an abundance of new fans stateside in the process. Add to all that an ROH Title shot against Davey Richards and its easy to see why End is one of the highest rated talents in Europe today. PBW are thrilled to have him make his Scottish debut next Saturday at Breaking Limits 8.

Waiting for End will be none other than PBW regulars El Ligero and Noam Dar. Ligero has been with PBW since our second ever show and is very well respected by the PBW fanbase. The 2010 King Of Cruisers is also no stranger to high profile matches and wrestling abroad. Having competed for over 115 wrestling promotions in his ten year career across Europe and America, Ligero has won more titles that most wrestlers can ever dream of winning and had the chance to compete against some of the best in the world today. Ligero has stepped in the ring with names such as Ultimo Dragon, El Generico, Doug Williams, Tracey Smothers plus many many more. Just this past March Ligero was also unlucky not to leave Airdrie Town Hall as PBW champion when current champion Liam Thomson has to resort to underhand tactics to retain his title in a hard fought match.

The final participant in this 3 way is the most in demand Scottish talent today. 19 year old Noam Dar exploded onto the Scottish Wrestling scene after learing his trade at the PBW Academy and in just a few years has seen himself become the man that many say is currently the best in Britain today. The former PBW King Of Crusiers and PBW Tag Team Champion was recently voted 2012 UK wrestler of the year by the highly respected Fighting Spirit Magazine after a year that saw him come up against some of the biggest names in wrestling today including AJ Styles, Prince Devitt and Jerry Lynn. Dar can also now claim to be a Dragon Gate UK regular after competing for the company for the second year running. With a full time contract surely on the cards for Dar in America or Japan, Scottish fans should take every opportunity to see this world class talent in action while they can.

This match alone is worth the price of admission and with another 4 big matches also announced including Haskins vs Thomson for the PBW title, this show is shaping up to potentially be our strongest show yet.
