Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted March 11, 2013 Paid Members Posted March 11, 2013 You could try getting one of them scart leads with the gold ends. I don't know what the technical name for them is but my brother was having similar problems and he got one of these gold scart leads for pretty cheap and it worked a treat.
Flatulent Dad Posted March 12, 2013 Author Posted March 12, 2013 Appreciate the advice, but I've been using DVD recorders (2) for the past 7 years. As the models I've had are now obsolete, I simply need a recommendation for something that may be currently available. The one that had to be returned (bought between the 2 LITEON models I have been using), simply didn't do what it promised, not as a result of anything I did or didn't do, did or didn't have. That experience however, left a bad taste & I'm simply trying to avoid repeating it. Places like Argos are happy enough to sell you the shit, but not quite as keen on taking it back, when it doesn't perform as stated.
Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted March 12, 2013 Paid Members Posted March 12, 2013 Really? I've always found Argos to strangly not give a shit as long as you've got the receipt. I've returned two year old hoovers and got them replaced by saying it doesn't work...

TheShowOff Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Odd flash back: I remember playing an NTSC Sega Saturn in B+W once round a friends house.
