Wrestle Midlands: Coming of Age

Nope it's happened in 2008 after the NOAH six man for SAS? One of the Birmingham based promotions.

I have waited years to see this match and now it's booked when I'm not in the country! Damn you Wrestle Midlands, if there's ever a rematch I'm there.

I've never seen or heard of this match anywhere before , I presume it isn't but is this a first ?

I think it's been approx 3 years since they have had there last 1-1 contest.

Honest question , have you done Blu-rays before

We do a pretty decent trade on DVD's but don't think it is worth doing Blu-rays financially , how do you do on them ?

If anyone's driving to the show theres a small car park across from the venue thats hidden behind a grass hill leading to some flats and its free. I dumped the car on there last time though if I'm honest the car I had at the time wasn't really worth nicking if there are any problems there.

Just a heads up though, while the shows are enjoyable its aimed at an all star type audience which to me takes something away (but then again I don't have kids). Chris Brookes and Jonathan Gresham were putting on a very good technical match but as the crowd was mainly kids who were expecting more interaction like in the previous matches they were pretty dead for it which is a shame. Not knocking the WM product, most of the matches were worth going for and they've found a market which works for them which is the important thing but you can't go in and expect the usual performances from certain people who have to tone their style down. If the line up was right and I can get the day off I'd go again though.

They fought at TXW in Coventry, then again in SAS in Collingwood not long after. Both around 2008 I think. I seem to remember reading that they also fought at a southern SAS show around that time too.
