Another quick update here. The Whole Show got his D2D right and is now in very little danger of finishing bottom of the table. Two people didn't join in this week, and for the second week running, someone scored nought. There was a dud result in Italy too. More of these facts in a full update in a day or two.

Further to the above, it looked like QPR might be letting one of their supporters down when they fell a goal behind (against the run of play by all accounts), but they came back to earn a victory and make said fan the top FPL scorer of the week. All but one of his 20 points were scored from that fixture as half of the other 18 participants disagreed with him this time out. Most of them erroneously thought Sunderland might snatch a point.

Without those bonuses, the highest scorer would've been Prince Nana, who was also the only other play into double figures for the round. The gap at both ends of the standings is now 14 points, as the chasing pack could only peg stunstone back by a single point, while sivy sat this one out. If he's giving up, seven points separate the two people immediately above him, but only one of those has had their D2D turn.

The aforementioned dud outcome was Napoli's unexpected 2-0 reverse at Chievo that leaves them 9 points adrift of Juve at the summit of Serie A, but the draw between Udinese and Roma in the same country on Saturday night had proved more fruitful. Not so Chelsea's comeback at Old Trafford, which cost more people points than it earned.

Both Scottish games officially finished goalless, although Hibs fans might have something to say about that! That meant the Edinburgh derby was generally good for at least one-pointers, but at Pittodrie the previous day, most had expected there to be a winner. Back south of the border again, not many people foresaw Liverpool triumphing, let alone by the odd goal in 5, in Sunday's big clash.

Instead it was West Brom's seemingly mundane 2-1 win over Swansea that yielded the most easy points, even though in fact, like at Easter Road, it also saw a late goal wrongly ruled out. Elsewhere the stalemate at Carrow Road wasn't much good for exact scores, whilst Reading's collapse in the other relegation tussle that cost Brian McDermott his job, was alarmingly easy to guess for a lot of you.
